imperial pizza

best pizza...but.. the best but expensive pizza in buffalo, if ordered with medium crust. regular crust is to bready. rude mennising employees seem to get distracted from what they are doing to glare at waiting customers. definite management issue. norms on broadway and later in cheektowaga was #1 until norm retired. wish he'd come back. imperial pizza tastes amazingly similar to the well established boccie's, club pizza and norms pizza. hard to say why. great pizza, management needs improvement.

seriously?. great food but not even worth dealing with the rude employees. i used to suggest it to friends and family but i wouldn't put them thru that for pizza and wings when there are hundreds of options.

fantastic food, a wny staple. went here a few months ago for a family get together and got two sheets, two buckets and a party sized antipasto, when i went to pick it up the gut behind the counter showed me one of the sheets and said that he "wasn't happy" with one of the edges so he gave us a free large pie. there didn't appear to be anything wrong with the sheet in question, but the gesture will be remembered. he also helped me load it into my car. highly recommend imperial, if you're entertaining guests from out of town and want them to get a true taste of buffalo, order from here.

best food from denver to buffalo. i have moved from buffalo to denver 13 years ago and have never found food that can hold a candle to imperials. from their wings to the subs and all the types of pizza in between. they truly are great.

great food, high cost.. we had 2 subs and a double wing. $37.70. we ordered bbq wings, got plain. the price is out of touch. it's too bad, as the food is always good, but it isn't hutch's.

$38.45 for a large pizza, 20 wings & bottle of pop??? are you kidding me? no menus or prices out for me to even look at? feeling ripped off. don't care how great you claim to be. that's ridiculous.

loved it!!! first time ordering and will definetly be making it a habit. the pick up line was out the door, but just goes to show that's where the good food is.

poor management!!!. i have been a customer of imperial pizza for years, however i will never order from them again!!! i called to place an order and was put on hold. i was able to hear the workers in the background, and it sounded to me like they were either arguing with each other, or a customer. after more than 5 minutes i hung up and called back. it was 10:45 on a monday night, so i asked if they were still delivering. i was told yes, so i ordered a mini sausage and cappicola sub. the girl said, "so you want a mini imperial" and i said, "is a sausage and cappicola sub an imperial" and she said yes. i said okay, can you have them fry the cappicola. she told me it already comes fried. i thought that was odd, every other place i order from fries the cappicola when they make the sub. i also ordered a mini ham sub. our order was delivered at 11:20 and when we unwrapped our subs they were both wrong. my husband received a steak, cheese, and mushroom (which is an imperial) sub and he doesn't even like mushrooms. remember i even questioned her to confirm it was sausage and cappicola. my sub had no tomatoes on it, just ham and lettuce! they close at 11:30, so i called the next day and explained to the manager what happened. it was like he didn't believe me because he said he was there and the girl who took the order has worked there for years. why would i lie??? i wasn't expecting a freebie, but i should have been reimbursed for their mistake. he did say if i still had the subs i could bring them in and have them remake them. i didn't save them because my husband was so pissed he threw his out and i did eat mine after i sliced my own tomatoes and put them on!!! it cost me $17.00 and a $3.00 tip for the delivery, and this is the response i get from a manager! they do have great pizza, but this is buffalo and there are plenty of other places i will give my business too!!! i will be sure to let anybody i talk to about pizza places to know of my experience and refer them to other places, such as bella.. abbott.. pasquales.. and the list goes on!!!

decent pizza but the veggie pizza was so overloaded it was too much. would try again, maybe just a cheese pizza though.

lies. made an order for a half pizza and 20 wings and they charged me nearly $40 dollars and the delivery guy said the prices went up, total bs, will pay to close the place, or send every over to bella pizza which will take great care of anybody for a fair price and great food

just so everyone knows that there is no such thing as an imperial pizza website, all of the menus online are not imperials, i think they do a great job and have the cleanest and best customer service in every resteraunt i have ever eaten at. they do the best they can to please every customer as best as they can!!

sub-par phone service. unfortunately, it seems to be a running trend according to some other reviews i've noticed on here. the young ladies who take seem either distracted or aren't listening. two occasions they got our order wrong. the second time, they managed to not even put the order in (or at least not under the right name). at that point, we've decided to take our business back up to majestic on harlem rd. it was a shame, as i like imperial's pizzas, and it was right on the way home from work, which was convenient. but we will not be ordering again soon.
