one of the best ramen place in bondi and maybe sydney i have tried so far in the last 4 month!! the menu on zomato is a little bit old, i paid for this tonkotsu sth around 13-14 dollers, which is average for ramen. the soup base is fantastic but since tonkotsu is more a creamy one, i got full quick and thebrothtasted more and more too salty for me after a while.

what don‘t like was one of the staff she was kinda rude to me when i asked for her recommendation even thought i was the first costumer after they opened!!! this ramen place must be famous since it got crowded quickly!!

if you don‘t care about the service this place is a good one if you are in bondi!!

ichiban boshi is a solid and decent venue for a quick ramen meal. the bondi junction eatery is located along the pedestrianised pavement near westfield and features an outdoor alfresco area and a cozy indoor.

i ordered my favourite grilled pork ramen. the shiobrothis clear and savoury - probably a little too salty for my preference. but the flame-grilled pork slices were delicious (though a little too tough and chewy).

as ichi-ban boshi in the city is my favourite ramen so far in sydney i was excited to find out there was one in bondi junction with outdoor seating. but we were on a mission to find certain components for a hardware project cobalt had to stay at home.

the ordering system here is different. you go and pay at the counter get a number and hopefully find a seat. we ordered the negimiso ramen with the topping of boiled vegetables and gyoza to share.

as always the ramen was awesome, the leek and the vegetable offering a crunchy contrast to thebrothand slippery noodles.

my partner enjoy it as well and at this stage ichi-ban boshi is his favourite ramen place.

nice noodles. my mil highly recommends this place and used come once a week for years. i finally went for dinner tonight and thought their miso ramen was quite nice. their noodles have a good bouncy texture but their soup base is a bit salty and oily so i left most of this behind. i tried my husbands tonkatsu ramen and this had a betterbrothbut i'm not a fan of their thin noodles. we also tried their agendashi tofu and takoyaki which were decent.

service is efficient and its cash only, they have indoor and outdoor seating but basic decor and not really a place to linger. many were coming in to takeaway.

interesting, i'd never had a warm tsukemen before. basically the ramen noodles on the right are in a pretty bland soup with some slices of pork and shallots. you dip the noodles into the more concentrated flavouredbrothon the left. yum! ma chose the tonkotsu ramen. they only ma

the tonkatsu raven (limited to 15 serves each day) here has one of the bestbrothi have ever tasted. it is very rich in flavour while not being too salty. thebrothitself is thicker than normal soup says something how good it is. the noodle is soaked full the flavour of the soup,, while being a tad bit too tender. only one very thin slice of pork is served though, harming the value proposition at $10.90. the very hot raven is not spicy at all, according to my die hard spicy-phile wife; and without that, there's nothing special about it to warrant another try. the iced green tea cappuccino is one of the worst i had lately, so steer away from it. in summary, i'll come back for the tonkatsu raven, and try something else next time.
