cheap price, good meals. tasty ramen!
would come back here often because of the price.

service not the best though - staff at the counter not friendly & look like they don't want to be there!

very unassuming and very good value for money.

if you're a ramen fan, this is the place to go! with an extensive choice of ramen at such a cheap price, it's the perfect place to hit up after a round of shopping downstairs. definitely try the eel dish, it's like christmas to your mouth.

protip: they take cash only, so grab some at the atm on the ground floor before you come in.

service is fast and friendly, the food is delicious and great value for money, i always purchase the noodles with dumplings (my favourite). go for the ramen, not the udon (wouldn't recommend)

excellent value for money! i came here and paid $9.90 for the tokyo ramen, and i never expected the portions to be so generous! also, there's free water so no need to buy any of those pesky plastic bottles. the ramen was very flavoursome, authentic and fresh and the restaurant itself provides a comforting and welcoming atmosphere. very authentic decoration, really felt like i was somewhere in japan. highly recommend especially if you're hungry!

we love this place -- no frills, clean, efficient and everything is very fresh. i have a weakness for the super-dooper-salty wonton-men soup and my partner's fave is the off-menu prawn nyu-men (spelling?) soup but we also love the tokyo ramen, the tempura udon and the agedashi tofu.  pour yourself a glass of icy-cold water and listen to all the polite japanese shouting as the front staff communicate with the kitchen -- i do love their floating tankuverymaaaaaaaaach farewell as you leave...

our every year post-city2surf lunch place. tasty, filling and rich ramen in a big bowl that never disappoints. good price, outdoor sitting in a pedestrian zone.

incredibly tasty ramen and egg for a shop fairly hidden amongst the other shops along the street! wide range in the menu at an affordable price. would definitely go again (sit in the outdoor seating on a sunny day)

where my boyfriend will take me when i miss home. there's something very comforting about hot soupy noodles with onsen egg. noodles are springy and soup tasty. just the way i like it.

nice noodles. my mil highly recommends this place and used come once a week for years. i finally went for dinner tonight and thought their miso ramen was quite nice. their noodles have a good bouncy texture but their soup base is a bit salty and oily so i left most of this behind. i tried my husbands tonkatsu ramen and this had a better broth but i'm not a fan of their thin noodles. we also tried their agendashi tofu and takoyaki which were decent.

service is efficient and its cash only, they have indoor and outdoor seating but basic decor and not really a place to linger. many were coming in to takeaway.

ichi-ban boshi, bondi junction, is a japanese noodles and rice restaurant located on the bondi junction mall right across from its train station. this place has a good selection of different japanese ramen, and there are different rice and udon dishes as well.

been eating here for 20 years love it. my kids love it too it really is the best food have to have it at least once or twice a month maybe more

sanratanmen - $12.90. oh my gawd!!! this is enormously huge!!!
it tasted a bit like chinese hot and sour soup amusingly.

great ramen. great location, short walk to westfield bondi junction so after having a really filling bowl of ramen you can do some walks to the shopping mall. the place is packed mostly on weekends but you won't wait for more than 15 mins so it's all good. the ramen and dumpling+rice aren't worth it so keep in mind when you go to ichi ban boshi, all you order is just their ramen :)

best ramen in south east asia.. this is better than any ramen ive had in south east asia.

ippudo is nearly as good.
