i had my first experience at hook forlunchand it was fabulous! aesthetically pleasing and staff is friendly and good at their jobs. food was wonderful! i started with a wonderfully flavored cup of gumbo. then had a tasty fried shrimp and spinach salad with a divine bacon vinaigrette. and ended this delicious meal with a to die for slice of chocolate sweet and salty cake! definitely will be visiting this wonderful restaurant again! an excellent addition to a great area in the pass!

new favorite. i had luch at hook for the first time today. i tried the pullen and pork poboy, it was great. this poboy is loaded with chicken and bacon and several different cheeses. it's like a meaty grilled cheese on steroids!!!! i highly recommend trying this. the waitresses were very attentive, service was quick and one of the owners even stopped by our table to check on us. extremely great place to dolunchand i am looking forward to trying their dinner menu.

good food, although its a bit pricey. service was not the fastest but still good and friendly. i was looking forward to one sandwich i had seen on the online menu but did not realize that you could not order that for dinner. i think that made the experience pretty disappointing since i had my mind made up already. i will have to try again forlunchnext time.

fried seafood platter was good, not spectacular, portions were a little small for the price. service was ok.
good place for cautious eaters. no surprises, nothing out of the ordinary.

greatlunchspot. stopped b last week forlunchwith some co workers. we all ordered sandwiches an po boys. the blackened chicken sandwich and the pullet sandwich were out favorites. i really liked the soft cheddar bread the use on the sandwiches. great place for good sandwiches

no service. my husband & i attempted to havelunchat hooks on friday, march 14, 2014. we were seated, looked over the menu & made our selection. we waited for a server to take our order. we waited, while 2 servers walked around us many times, never stopping to take our drink order or even acknowledging our presence. we decided since we were not "locals" we were being ignored, we walked out. the restaurant and the server missed out on serving possible return customers. we won't waste our time entering their door again.

great food.. we love this place. every meal we've had has been outstanding. the service has always been great. the drinks are terrific. one of our favorite places to eat.

love the place. we have been to hooks numerous times forlunchand dinner. we have enjoyed each visit and meal. i think their version of oysters rockefeller is unique and one the best oyster appetizers i have ever had. it is great casual dining in a great atmsophere. glad to see downtown pc alive again.

the food was way overpriced! 2 entrees and a piece of "cheesecake" for $50? very small portions and the food was bland. to top it off i had to hunt the waitress down to come and run our checks. i might try again forlunchbut won't step foot in there again for dinner.
