hoffbrau steak & grill house

had a great experience at hoffbrau's tonight! started off with brau chips, a family favorite! i had the pan grilled tilapia with sautéed spinach. it was delicious!! my husband had the steak salad. my older son had the filet & shrimp. and my younger son had hand-breaded chicken strips. there was nothing left! we also shared peach cobbler with a scoop of ice cream. everything was great! one of our favorite places to eat as a family! greatservice& great food!

i loved the jalapeño appetizer and my burger was delicious. the steak was nicely cooked too. theservicewas awesome and they changed the channel to the game we wanted to watched.

wow!! awesome staff and wonderful atmosphere!. we had my mother's seventh birthday party there this last saturday! staff were so accomodating and theservicewas great! can't say enough about the food...my mother is a true texan and loves her steak...that ribeye brought a smile to her eyes and oh man lit up her face upon the first bite ...she said it was delicious! our waitress jessie was great ..took extra time with my mom but of course my mom says everyone needs to do that, after all she made it to seventy..but jessie we appreciate all your care and consideration! you are the best! kendl the "excellent" manager took time out of her busy day to come greet my mother and then volunteered to take group pictures of us all...thanks for helping preserve that memory of my mothers happiness and her surprise that so many of us were there to honor her and celebrate her achievements! omg the friendliness and care was so evident!! i want to thank you all for going above and beyond on such a special day! i just want you to know...we could not have picked a better place for this get together (we were a rather large group but no problem for hoffbrau) and i thank you all for helping make her birthday celebration such a success! upper management: please take note you got some wonderful people in your amarillo location, they are doing you more than proud!!! once again, thank you all, hope to have her seventy first celebration there too!

this was a good choice for atmosphere and ribeye steak. theservicewas great. i would not recommend the chicken fried steak. the meat was tough and breading was greasy. my kids liked it too

hoffbra steaks. had dinner here on saturday evening (10-12-13) with six others: i ordered a chicken fried steak: there were no options for a veg to go with the order: it came with the only choice available that night, potatoes with gravy: the steak was over cooked and almost charred inside. the entire food display at our table was less than mediocre at best. all of us in our group were disappointed greatly with the food.servicewas good, just poor food. we will not go back.

ate lunch and had the 1/2 rack ribs with grilled corn on cob. food was excellent as well asserviceand drinks. keep up good work!

passing thru town again so had to stop by. they are doing some remodeling but the food &serviceare still great!

very good restaurant goodserviceand great food. i got the sirloin and it was cooked perfectly very good

delicious and a bargain.. i had the lunch special bandera pork chop- grilled with jalapeno glaze and served with roasted corn on the cob. the chop was delicious and the corn was okay. my dining partner had the 8 oz. rib-eye
served with baked potato. we both had a good salad and iced tea. theservicewas great and the atmosphere is okay, so overall this place again was extremely reasonable and great.

always perfect. i always have good experiences here. my steak is always cooked to perfection & practically melts in my mouth. i always receive great service, & the wait staff makes sure my tea glass is never empty. i enjoy seeing the manager make the rounds & check on each table to make sure they're having an enjoyable experience. these folks have customerservice& food down to a science. don't waste your money on the fancier steak houses in town, because the ritzier ambiance they offer just isn't worth the prices they charge. my time & money will be spent here when i'm craving steak. thank you hoffbrau!

tried the fried pickles - they were not good. :-/ however, the steak i ordered was cooked perfectly and was delicious. theservicewas fantastic.

steak was not good. my girlfriend ordered hers medium-well and it was cooked well done.servicewas mediocre. rudys has better cream corn.

average. the steak was bland and the mashed potatoes were good, but theservicewas very slow.

good smoked sirloin. we went there for dinner and had the signature peppered smoked sirloin. even if the thick slices of hickory smoked meat were pre-cooked and kept warm in the kitchen they tasted good and were not dry. the steaks came with a juicy peppered fat layer on top and a fairly good baked potato on the side. the salad was ok and the margarita was good.

theservicewas good and the waitress smiling. the manager walked by and asked us if we liked our meal and thanked us for our patronage.
