i recently started a job that brought to this side of town and my new co-workers brought me here. cute little diner and theserviceis great. we even got easter egg surprises with free desserts or discounts. it actually feels like a family there already

had the flying pig burger with potato pancakes. burger is huge. it's also about two or three details away from being a great burger. preformed patties never taste as good as those made on the spot. cooking too slowly won't give the taste or texture of well-browned meat. but... it's still a good burger. i sure didn't send it back. potato cakes were foodservicequality. ho hum. nice servers and pleasant surroundings.

went hp hitching post for early dinner after a midday movie on tuesday. it was my hubby's (a picky eater) first visit.  he enjoyed a chicken dinner, while i savored the liver & onions, which isn't easy to find on menus around town.  theservicewas great, as usual, and we both left too full to have a piece of one of their great pies for dessert.  hubby was already planning what he'll order on next visit!

this place has the best chicken and mini potato pancakes yum! theserviceis always fast and friendly. i'd eat here every day of mt waistline could afford to. it's that good!

this hitching post location over-rates itself by claiming to serve "the world's best fried chicken." it's not terrible, but certainly not the best in the world or even in cincinnati. (the hitching post restaurant located on kellogg actually serves tastier fried chicken, albeit in humbler surroundings.)

the same mediocrity applies to most of its lunch and breakfast offerings. theserviceis adequate and friendly enough to make diners feel comfortable and welcome.

the food here is so yummy fried chicken is my favorite they have it any time of day. double deckers are great too.serviceand prices are awesome. i want to go again right now. oh and get the mini potato pancakes. yum

i love this place. it's unpretentious and the fried chicken and double decker sandwiches are awesome. i'm not much of a breakfast person so i love that i can eat fried chicken at ten am. greatservicegoods prices yum!

awesome experience!. my friend & i wanted to go somewhere for a good breakfast. we were referred to hitching post (hp) in hyde park. we had never been there before but decided to try hp. we were surprisingly, thoroughly satisfied! our waitress was friendly and accurate. theservicein asking for specially prepared items was excellently delivered! the food was prepared quickly & served piping hot! the presentation was amazing! & ing the taste was so delicious & wonderful! we thoroughly enjoyed this meal! hitching post's breakfast selections will exceed any foodie's expectations! we plan to return this coming saturday morning for another delightful breakfast dining experience!

feied chicken the best !. just visited hitching post,and as always had the best fried chicken around,servicewas great and prompt i drive 26 miles to get here and its worth it

great take out. food was hot and ready when they said it would be.serviceis always perfect and courteous. food you'd prepare at home with the same love and attention!

dr. g.w. mundy. our group, which can vary from as few as four to as many as eleven, enjoys breakfast each sunday at the hyde parkhitching post located on madison rd. the food has been consistently good and theservicefriendly, efficient and very professional. a much appreciated courtesy provided is individual checks that are often complicated for our server by spouses not sitting next to each other. i think i can safely speak for our entire group when i say we have never had an unpleasant dinning experience.

great food!. some of my coworkers and i frequent hyde park hitching post for lunch. the food is always good and the waitresses are friendly. if you join their rewards program you can take part in their occasional free pie days and can earn points for gift certificates!

delicious food, friendly service. my co-workers and i like to go to hyde park hitching post for lunch on a regular basis. the food and dessert is delicious, and theserviceis friendly and "homey." it's always a nice break in the middle of a busy day.

hyde park hitching post is one of my favorite places. now that i've moved out of town, it's the one place i miss. theserviceis great! they know your name & use it every time i come in. the waitresses no exactly what i want & order & ask "do i want my usual"? sometimes i change it up, but theserviceis some of the best! i'd recommend hyde park hitching post to anyone in cincinnati...new in town or not.
