like everyone says, the portions are ridiculously huge. do yourself a favor and order one meal for every two people at your table. while the quantity is off the charts (for the starches more than the meats, however), the overall quality comes in at just above average. it's all tasty and well presented, but i think it's easy to be taken in by the notion of getting a single meal big enough for a family - like a pancake that's bigger than most large pizzas. service was friendly and generally pretty quick and efficient. i'd go again, but only after trying some other breakfast options first.

got to know about this place because of their epic portion sizes. and they werent wrong about it. it's so huge we had to eat it family style. their beverages were pretty bomb too. tried their chicken and waffles. which was my favourite, bread pudding with ice cream and sage fried chicken. they serve humungous sides too. i wonder how one person can eat so much. but overall i have to say this place had my heart. perfect place for a hangover brunch.

all american. i've seen pictures ,heard about it on the news, but nothing will prepare you for the food that will be placed in front of you. i ordered sage fried chicken and bacon stuffed waffles (glory). let me start by saying that this dish was a work of art. it was so perfectly stacked and the smell coming from my plate was addicting. i slowly pulled everything apart so my plate can be organized without embarrassing myself when i got ready to eat it. i wanted to dive in immediately. my chicken was crunchy on the outside, nice and moist on the inside with unique flavors coming from everywhere. my bacon stuffed waffle (my two for one) was perfection,there was a nice crust on the waffle and the bacon had a nice crunch to it also this was a perfect bite and the combination was genius. the maple syrup added was warm and smooth and the service was attentive and memorable. hash house a go go is a great place for breakfast. check it out!

the food was fine, but the service was excruciatingly slow! there were empty tables around but it was 20 minutes after ordering before we ever got our coffee. forget about refills!!

how fun is this place. all american comfort food made fresh every day and served in huge portions. loved the deconstructed pot pie! not a diet place. not a vegetarian place. servers great.

the portions were definitely massive! we finished two dishes between four people and were all stuffed by the end of it - with a lot left over. either plate wasn't anything special. we did need both to balance each other out - the hash loaded with a lot of jalepenos and cheese, and the other muted with avocado and a small amount of smoked bacon.there should be some sort of rule to strictly seperate the fruits from the warm dishes...

to be fair we were already full or at least i was when we ate here. however, i think my review is still fair. my hubby and i had dinner here and the only really impressive thing was portion size. our waitress was great too. i had the chicken and waffles and i mostly dug the waffles out and ate those. i kinda wish i would have ordered breakfast. my hubby said his stuffed meatloaf was good but i think he just liked that the portions were big and it was the cheapest meal we had.

prepare for the hour wait to be seated. it’s well worth it! huge portions, definitely share. our waiter was awesome and very attentive. our meal was large and very tasty! my wife and i split it and still had left overs. fried chicken was delicious!

the founders of hash house a go go seem to know that they need style to go along with the substance though. the interior of the restaurant was well decorated and used a lot of galvanized metal to give you that rural farmhouse feel, without making it gaudy or tacky.

great food, however like all the rest of the reviews the service is terrible!!! i watched a waitress yell at a customer and tell them "wait!!!" when they tried to get her attention for help after already trying to get help from her several other times, food took forever!!!! not worth the wait.

corn beef hash and over easy eggs way to much in the am. corn beef piled high on american fries mixed with cheese and onions over easy eggs and a big biskit just a bit of fruit.alot to eat for one or 2. served in a cast iron skillet they do need to heat the skillet first cools down the food to fast before you can eat it all one of tjs great places

insane. i had their signature sage chicken hash and my wife had a roasted chicken skillet. any one of their breakfasts is enough to feed two people. this is eat-and-go-back-to-bed kind of food. huge, excellent, worth the trip.

just bring a sherpa guide to find it. it's buried upstairs in the quad...getting there was like a scavenger hunt.
