hash house a go go

all american. i've seen pictures ,heard about it on the news, but nothing will prepare you for the food that will be placed in front of you. i ordered sage fried chicken and bacon stuffed waffles (glory). let me start by saying that this dish was a work of art. it was so perfectly stacked and the smell coming from my plate was addicting. i slowly pulled everything apart so my plate can be organized without embarrassing myself when i got ready to eat it. i wanted to dive in immediately. my chicken was crunchy on the outside, nice and moist on the inside with unique flavors coming from everywhere. my bacon stuffed waffle (my two for one) was perfection,there was a nice crust on the waffle and the bacon had a nice crunch to it also this was a perfect bite and the combination was genius. the maple syrup added was warm and smooth and the service was attentive and memorable. hash house a go go is agreatplace for breakfast. check it out!

to be fair we were already full or at least i was when we ate here. however, i think my review is still fair. my hubby and i had dinner here and the only really impressive thing was portion size. our waitress wasgreattoo. i had the chicken and waffles and i mostly dug the waffles out and ate those. i kinda wish i would have ordered breakfast. my hubby said his stuffed meatloaf was good but i think he just liked that the portions were big and it was the cheapest meal we had.

corn beef hash and over easy eggs way to much in the am. corn beef piled high on american fries mixed with cheese and onions over easy eggs and a big biskit just a bit of fruit.alot to eat for one or 2. served in a cast iron skillet they do need to heat the skillet first cools down the food to fast before you can eat it all one of tjsgreatplaces

this place isgreatand a must try! the portions are huge and the food is better than expected. i had the banana french toast and it was great. also at the table there was the texas rancheros which was so tasty, an omelette which was good as well. this place does get really busy but i would say its worth the wait. for how busy it is the service was good. overall this place isgreatand delicious. a suggestion though is if you go before or around 9am you will beat the rush and should not have to wait or at least that was our experience.

hash house is a decent place to grab breakfast but can be hit or miss when it comes to dinner.

the best thing about this place is the portion of food per plate. you'll definitely get your moneys worth. breakfast has always beengreathere for me. not a single flavorless dish. the dinner however has had a few misses. one example is the fried chicken. i'm not the biggest fan of it and believe it could use a little more seasoning in my opinion. the crab cakes on the other hand has been the best dinner item i've tasted here. delicious.

even with the dinner misses, this is a decent restaurant to dine at on the strip. my biggest recommendation is go for the breakfast even if it's dinner time. you wont be disappointed.

wow! this place is fantastic. the menu has a large selection of various foods, and each one sounds amazing. my friend got the sage fried chicken benedict, which was on man vs. food. she said it was the most amazing food she'd ever had. i had a pancake that looked like uncle buck made it, and if you haven't seen that movie, go watch it now. the picture doesn't do the actual size of the pancake any justice. the food was all delicious! the service wasgreatfor how busy it was. definitely go here. you won't regret it. we talked about going back the next day.

the food is great  you have to try the eggs benedict! was my first time on my birthday enjoy it wish i had one in my town.  hey maybe y'all could come to lufkin texas! good food is worth the wait!

been here a couple of times. had a chicken and waffles for breakfast. portion was huge but split with wife. both chicken and the waffle could have stood on their own but weregreattogether. had a meatloaf sandwich on a late night trip. greatflavor but don't know what i was thinking. portion was so big i could not finish. one of our favorite places.

wow!greatmealgreatprice. if you really want the best ask for billy. to quote him. "don't fake the funk". well worth every penny.

loved this gem. was looking for a late bite to eat and hash house came highly recommended. service wasgreatand the food. oh the food. was amazing. my husband got the breaded tenderloin and it was delicious and as big as his head. very affordable for the amount of good you get.

get your day started with a huge breakfast/brunch from hh. you might cring at the price, but i was able to take 1/2 back to my hotel and have as a late night snack.greatvalue on the strip!

we just wanted this to begreatbut it wasn't. the bacon was cold and had been sitting for a while. chicken was dry and over cooked.
i had french toast and it was good, enjoyed the cooked bananas on top. we got the feeling that this location was not trying to achieve good tasting food. needs work on taste :(

dry, tasteless chicken that is certainly over the top in terms of portion but... everything else fails.. ok the service was decent. i liked that. i felt like i was in fremont st. or something eating here because it felt so old and there was a rowdy table swearing left right and center. s'all cool, just gimme some good grub. but nope, all i got was some huge chicken waffle that tasted excessively dry and under-seasoned. you fooled me, man v. food. this place has the portions but without the taste. the waffles with bacon bits stuffed in them were pretty cool but they didn't taste all thatgreateither. and, with that one tiny cup of syrup on my plate, is that really going to help me scarf down all the waffles? very cool concept but poorly executed here. never again.

this is a must on your vegas trip! seriously super yummy and super huge for agreatprice. you could and should split a meal here. the portions are giant! my fav was the brown sugar banana pancakes (we had them 2x on our trip)

great food, not sogreatservice. the service was seriously lacking at noon on a saturday. it took an hour for us to get our food and way too long for the waitress to notice. the manager comped a few of our meals but made us sit through her long list of excuses. sorry, but "we're really busy" isn't an excuse for a restaurant that is always busy. that being said, the food was unbelievable. i had the fried chicken eggs benedict which was enough for at least two people and was by far the best eggs benedict i've ever had (and it is my favorite breakfast dish). the rest of the table got the sage fried chicken and waffles plate, which was also massive and a big hit all around. the plates were flavorful, fun and unique. i will definitely be back.
