best meal i've ever had. i had dinner here with a friend since he had a coupon (cheap college students). if you're strapped for cash, don't bother. if you are fortunate enough to be able to afford a bill of $20 per person then go for it. the service was okay, though i would have expected it to be better for such an upscale place. they give you free bread though which was warm and soft, with garlic butter on the side. atmosphere is new orleans/mardi gras themed.
we went on a wednesday andorderedmartinis since they were half off. i'm not a big martini drinker and unfortunately didn't like mine (pomegranate martini). the food is a different story. my friend had an assortment dish with gumbo, jambalaya, and shrimp etoufee called taste of new orleans. it was good, but not as good as mine. iorderedthe pasta mardi gras, a dish with lobster, crabmeat, crawfish, and mushrooms, sauteed in literally the best tasting sauce i've ever had in my entire life. i would choose this as my last meal of my life, no lie.
