ddd got it right!. guy fieri was dead on, the burgers was fantastic.

its just hamburgers. nothing special. ground beef. pressed into a patty. cooked. nothing special, if you think it is then you are dumb and like overpaying for okay food. also bring cash because these cheapskates dont want to pay the credit card processing fees...also too cheap to have an atm...again fees. you would think with the money they are bringing down from their over priced food they could make the customers experince better. also if you are looking for any historical significance wrt grover cleveland forget it, just another dumpy bar and grill. you have been warned.

i don't get how people think these are the best burgers? but in buffalo many folks put quantity over quality and if you want an okay burger that is over priced this is the place. bring cash or check, they don't take plastic( a sign stating such might be nice).

black and blue burger is out of this world. service is really fast. price for portion is phenomenal.

worth the slight aggrivation. fair warning: they are always packed, and don't take credit cards. we waited for a table for 10 minutes, realized this, left to go to an atm, came back, waited another 10 minutes, and were almost about to give up when the waitress walked by with a tray of burgers. oh. my. gosh. if i was a cow i would have been proud to give my life for that burger. amazing. the staff is friendly as well and the fries and rings were super crispy. definatly a must-eat. bring cash and don't expect and shoulder room.

burgers are good, but.... the burgers at grover's are very big and tasty but beware going on a weekend. the place is very small and the wait is long.

good . . . but over-hyped.. like everyone else going to grover's, i was told that they had the best burgers ever. because of this, i passed on a really amazing-looking fish fry to get a "cattleman," their take on a barbecue (cowboy) burger. it was good, don't get me wrong, but it was a burger. and i love a good burger. just don't get all worked up about going there, and definitely don't wait three hours for it. you can get just as good a burger at a five guys, if they ever come to town, and even applebees gives them a good run for their money. they get extra points for atmosphere, though, it's a really nice little bar.

i gave them a don't like, but it's more of a not living up to expectations than true dissatisfaction.

always solid. been going here for years. you'll have to expect a wait to get a table, just write your name on the chalkboard. the burgers are absolutely huge for the price, great, great value. since it was featured on tv, it's been even busier, which they definitely deserve! also have a great friday fish fry! takeout is a lot easier, especially if you call ahead to place your order!

i have been going to grover's since i moved to the area in 2008. i loved it. but will not be going back anytime soon. today i decided to order lunch for myself, a burger, a basket of 1/2 onion rings 1/2 fries and 3 bowls of soup (1 for with my lunch, 1 for a coworker and 1 for later) i was told the total was going to be $48.00, which i thought was a little high but i really wanted grover's so i got it anyway. when i picked it up gave to waitress $55.00 and told her to keep the change. when i returned to my office there was only 2 soup in the bag. when i called back they said i had only ordered 2. i know i ordered 3. but that was beside to point. $48 for a burger fries/onion ring and 2 soups. who do they think they are ruth chris?????? and they only take cash are they trying to hide income from the state and the irs? hmmmmmmmm

i was wearing a black lives matter face mask, and was immediately berated by the bartender, who rolled her eyes in my face, started mumbling under her breath, and walked away from me. the waitress did not treat me much better. to treat anyone that way is an abomination. mistreating a paying customer because you don’t agree with anti-racist attire is absurd. they’ve lose my business.

after a few visits really enjoyed the food, however..after visiting today. saturday july9th we were told grovers closes for one week once a year for cleaning. the menu would be limited as they would be using up any food the had left. appreciating what good foods they have we decided to stay until a very rude hostess was completely ignorant about the whole situation.. we decided to leave. and take our business elsewhere! we were completely appauled at her lack of customer service! it's unfortunate,as well they lost at least $60.00 from us! i'm very dissapointed to say the least. suppose we should have gotten her name and expressed our dissatisfaction to the owner. if i treated my customers like that i wouldn't have any! typical of the lack there of with customer service everywhere these days.

stopped by here on a sunday afternoon, but they were closed. came back about a year later on a thursday evening. small place, and as a result, it was very loud. there is a sign posted that they do not accept credit cards, which is slightly annoying, as i usually use my credit card for everything. i had to check how much cash i had on-hand.  we were told to write our names on a chalkboard, which served as the wait list. we were seated in about 5 minutes. the service was friendly, although disorganized. everything is a la carte, so a burger, fries and drink add up fast. my wife and i both had the cattleman burger. we split a fries / onion rings combo, as well as a cheeseburger soup as an appetizer. everything tasted great, and we left full (and feeling slightly disgusting). if we were looking to binge on a huge burger and fries, i would return here.

awesome burger, great ambiance. kids were very welcome. staff were quick and friendly. busy even late on a friday night speaks volumes. will be back next time i am in buffalo.

love it every time me and my family go.. i love this place me and the family go their at least once a month cause its one of the best places to go and get a really good burger. yes the place isn't that big and you do have to wait some time 30 min to get your table but their burgers are worth the wait. i send everybody i know to this place and recommend it too.

good eats, good beer and great employees. garlic parm wings, cheeseburger soup and of course the burgers, love 'em all but i feel like such a pig when i eat there.

amazing burger!. grover burgers are the best burgers in the area. the only downside to going is that it can take a long time to be seated if you go at dinner time. the burgers are huge and always cooked the way you want them. although the wait can sometimes be long, and paying in cash can be annoying, the food is well worth the wait and the hassle.
