excellent food, superb service-don't miss it!. graze is a pleasant dining experience. there is an extensive wine list of nice wines! the food is exquisite. we started with an appetizer of pommes frites fried in truffle oil. go for it! we enjoyed it! my dining companion ordered waffles and chicken, served on a side of maple syrup. the chicken was so tender that a fork could easily cut it. i ordered the scallops served on risotto with green beans. every flavor from the chili to the cinnamon were combined with finesse. and, our third dining companion ordered the blackened salmon on a bowl of leafy greens. i cannot express how grateful i was to finally reach a restaurant in mt. pleasant which could cater to numerous palates with a skilled chef. thank you, graze. thewaitstaff was attentive, knowledgeable and polite. the ambience worked well at our table but it was a little loud. a+

good eats. had been hearing about graze from lots of friends, decided to have lunch with a colleague visiting town and it was fantastic. i had the prime rib sandwich and it was great. the aged tillamook cheddar really set this sandwich apart and the addition of horseradish mayo added just enough kick to make this one of the better prime rib sandwiches i've ever had. only downside was the place was slammed and had towait20 minutes or so for a table. it was a friday so just consider that an fyi if your going during lunctime, but hey, with food this good, thewaitwas well worth it.

go there!. unexpected and awesome. great food, no fuss. very pleasant atmosphere and quality ingredients. can'twaitto go back. easy to park, but make a reservations because it is a small restaurant. if you're too full for dessert, get it to go! everything was amazing.

graze. awesome. was staying in mt. pleasant and didn't want to drive into charleston to eat. wanted really good food but somewhat low-key. didn't want to have to get too dressed up. this place will suprise you because it is in a strip mall, but the ambience is great, and they have amazing food. our experience, the service was great. we didn't have to wait. we split the tomato garlic soup and i highly recommend it for an appetizer. i had a pasta with mushrooms and goatcheese and loved it. my husband had some kind of beef tips and he loved them. we wanted to go back the next night!!

my family of three came here to eat on saturday. as we waited to be greeted by the hostess, my husband noticed a few available tables. as we approached the hostess, she ask if we had reservations, we didn't. she stated that they were booked and gave us two options, to sit outside or at the corner of the bar. it was about 90 degrees outside, there were no other customers outside and only two iron looking tables next the front of the door that she was referring to. this is in a strip mall, so that was not a consideration for us. i didn't want my 6 year old son sitting at a bar. the hostess did not give us an option towaitnor did she say how long awaitwould be.
disappointed, offended, and livid, we left. as soon as i got in the car, i called graze and asked how long is awaitright now for a party of 3, the guy placed me on a brief hold, came back and said 30 minutes. i said ok and hung up. i called right back and ask for the manager, i explained to him what just happened to us. the manager said, the last time he checked, the next opening was at 8:30. that time was literally 45 minutes from the time we arrived, typicalwaitfor a saturday in mt. pleasant. the manager did not offer an apology or a resolution to our problem.
we have eaten here once before and felt unwelcome. we decided to try it again to assure ourselves that this is truly the atmosphere here.
i have thought of many possibilities as to why this happened to us. maybe this was a case of the hostess being uninformed; i doubt it. maybe those seats were reserved for others who had reservations; perhaps. maybe if we hadn't experienced a similar situation at our last visit i would feel differently; absolutely. maybe if our faces were white, i would be writing a totally different review; definitely.

best yet!!!!. i must admit that despite my friends urging, i have avoided this place because of the prejudicial thought that there cannot be a good restaurant in a strip mall. has my opinion ever changed. from decor, towaitstaff, to food - all the way through dessert - this has to have been one of my favorite meals yet. i highly, highly recommend you save room and finish the meal with the pb gelato dessert concoction. so worth every single calorie. i loved this place and look forward to going again!

i also went during restaurant week. i had one of the best meals at graze. my wife and i tried 3 different restaurants during restaurant week and graze by far surpassed them all. very friendly attentive staff and phenomenal food. yes it was a little loud but what busy restaurant isn't. i can'twaitto return to charleston and try grazes regular menu.

great place. ate here in july 2011. no reservations, but worth the wait. staff is extremely friendly and the food is awesome. can'twaitto go back this july.

gave it another chance. update - we went back and gave it another try. service could not have been better. everything from drinks to appetizers to dinner was handled professionally. the food was the real star. chicken livers were awesome. salmon was excellent. not one bad meal in our group of six. pork was outstanding. very nice and well priced wine list. this place has a faithful local following. we will return.


very disappointed. we were a party of 5 on saturday night. it took the waitress over 20 minutes to bring us our drink order and water. fearing we wouldwaitanother 20 minutes before seeing her we ordered. food came out in 10 minutes. never any rolls, drink refills or even advice on the menu. we were brought our check even before the last person finished dinner! no offers of desert or coffee, etc. food was good but the plain decor and poor service will not have me returning.

beer dinner. went to graze last night for a beer dinner. wow!!! it was amazing. i just found out about this place from a friend who invited me to the dinner. they did a six course dinner paired with six craft beers for $55.00. i have seen these beers in the grocery store and if i bought one of each off the shelf it would have cost me eaisly $30. the beer was great but what really wowed me was the food. i have dined out quite frequently all over the world as my job required me to travel quite frequently. the food served last night was as great as any i have had. i can'twaitto return and try graze again for dinner.

pretty good - buts needs some improvements. graze is a very pleasant atmosphere and a good location. after having lunch around five times i believe i can write a fair review. the menu has some very nice selections with local cuisine. on one occasion my dish accompanied fried green tomatoes - however my tomatoes were not green. i brought this to the attention of my server who responded sorry some green tomatoes are actually red! once he left the table we all just chuckled! another occasion i ordered a prime rib sandwich which was very fatty. i again brought this to the attention of my waiter who responded, i am sorry. he did not offer to change out the sandwich or to speak with the chef. i did not want to make a fuss so i simply took the sandwich apart and ate the non fatty parts. i believe thewaitstaff needs to pay more attention to the customer and making their meal as enjoyable as possible especially with the prices one is paying for lunch.

heard about a new restaurant in the patriots plaza in mt pleasant and came upon graze. i came in for a quick lunch on a wed afternoon and was surprised at the crowd. i enjoyed the chicken livers with grits, the presentation was really unique. the addition of the crispy brussels sprout leaves was great. can'twaitto bring the family back for dinner. this place seems like a new mt pleasant keeper!

yum. what an amazing dinner!! we couldn't have been more happy with the service, the atmosphere, and most of all the food!!!

our waiter was super attentive, we couldn't have wanted for anything. he was great about explaining the menu items we were considering and he made some excellent suggestions.

we started with the tuna tataki - so fresh and delish!!

next it was the lobster mac and cheese - perfection!

and of course, i'm a sucker for fries so we had the pomme frites - with truffle oil - love it!

for dinner i went with the waiter's suggestion of the pappardelle - with spinach, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes and goat cheese - and again, the perfect drizzle of truffle oil - couldn't have been better!

my date had the rainbow trout it came with delicious grilled veggies and a quinoa salad with just the right amount of smoky-spice - off the charts!!

all-in-all this place is definitely my new fave - i can'twaittill next time!!

yummmmm!. are you kidding me with this place? i am so thrilled that we found it! amazing prices! great service (and i have 20 years in the restaurant biz under my belt)! and the food? the lobster mac & cheese was delicious! the pomme frites were soooo yummy- i could have eaten the aioli with a spoon!

the carolina wreckfish was awesome! (love the addition of the roasted parsnip) my mom had the porchetta and had to be bribed into sharing with me! cannotwaitto return!! thank you so much graze!

best new restaurant?. i dont normally write reviews but i have to say... i have been to graze 4 times now and at first i thought it was just because they were brand new that the food was that good. but its not, every time i have been there the food has been amazing!! i live on the other side of the bridge and have no reason to ever be in mt.p but this place is 100% worth the trip. my last visit was friday, the were on awaitbut it still didnt take that long, the service was spot as just as it has been with my other visits. i know that sometimes service suffers when places are busy but not here. i have friends comeing into town next week for the holidays and cantwaitto bring them to graze!!! love this place

had another great meal on saturday night, place was busy as usual. had towaitbut well worth it. another great dining experience.

had top five meals of my life here! was treated great from the moment i walked in the door to the moment i left. the manager was very helpful with suggestions on the menu as well as wonderful wine pairings. the food did not let us down! my husband and i shared the duck liver mousse then the crabcake as well as the mushroom papperdelle. both outstanding. our only regret was that we didn't have enough room for dessert, this time! will definitely be back and will tell all my friends. a must visit!
