almost every bengali has been to darjeeling once and has visited this legendary outlet. they also have a restaurant section which is on the upper floor. all the items in their bakery are freshly made. we have tasted their
1. choco doughnut -soft and delicious.
2. molten chocolate cake- good.
3.black forest pastry- again delicious.
4. plain cake-average.
5. pineapple pastry- average.
6. chicken subsandwich- really fresh and tasty .
7. bacon with eggs- bacon was chewy and too salty. will not recommend this particular dish.
8. hot chocolate -good.
9. cafe latte- average.
10. cream roll- average.
the ambience is beautiful and dreamy. you can see kanchenjunga sitting in their outdoor seats on a clear day. the food takes a back seat as one becomes mesmerised by the view. the interior has a vintage colonial feel and smells of delicious fresh bakes.
price is a justified considering everything.

great ambience, service is very quick. has an outdoor seating too with a very pleasant view. the cheesecake and the chocolate muffin was very tasty. loved the decor. tried their sandwiches too, they were great too. a must visit.

a trip to darjeeling is never complete without a visit to glenary's. a couple of months ago, we visited this legendary bakery on a chilly evening. we had to wait for quite long for the food to arrive, but the ambience is so aesthetic and beautiful, that anyone would hardly complain about waiting a bit long.

we had ordered cheese pizza and a cappuccino, they tasted great.

old school, old timer, memories, nostalgia all combined. glenary's is pure love.
they made an amazing cake for my kiddo. love the snacks and coffee, besides confectionery

darjeeling is my favorite summer getaway and it's never truly complete without a visit to glenary's and keventers!

glenary's is a three storied eatery located at chauk bazaar, darjeeling. there is a beautiful cafe cum bakery in the basement and ground floor. the first floor consists of a luxurious dining area that has both indoor and outdoor seating.

i have visited this place many times and of the many things i've tried my favorite are-

1. chocolate tart------ recommended! a perfectly baked tart with a lovely smell of butter, coated with chocolate and filled with the smoothest chocolate ganache!
they cost rs.50 each.
i wish i could find these in kolkata too! 😭❤️

2. chocolate roll----- a crispy wafer roll, filled with whipped cream and coated in chocolate.

3. croissant------ recommended!! the softest, fluffiest croissants i've ever had, made with ample quantities if butter.

4. paris brest----- choux pastry with a filling of smooth coffee cream! tastes quite good.

5. cheese pie------ not the best one i've had but tastes good nonetheless.

6. apple pie----- it tastes best when warm.

7. sausage and bacon pizza----- recommended! they put generous quantities of cheese, sausage and bacon on top. one is enough for 2-3 people.

cost for two: rs.300-400

this bakery was established during the british colonial days and the ambience here gives you a feel of the yesteryears. the iconic red telephone booth stands in the middle of the hall,
; an antique coin register, small coffee tables add to the beauty. the staff is polite but the service is a bit slow as this place is usually very busy throughout the day.

this place is etched as a part of my memories of darjeeling and i can't wait to go back and indulge in more of this amazing food. 💞

we tried the blueberry cheesecake, apple pie and key lime pie. the blueberry cheesecake is the best i have ever had. the apple pie was delicious with a crust to die for. the key lime pie was good as well.

i found the place lovely not just for its name but it’s probably the best place in darjeeling to have a cup of darjeeling tea and great accompaniments in a logical price with a view of the city.

a must visit place to have amazing food with amazing view.
tried roasted chicken sub sandwich and roasted pork sub sandwich. also tried lime pie and red velvet cake. must try dessert.

this cafe is in the ground floor of the glenery's restaurant. a very pretty cafe however a bit crowded , you may have to wait in order to find a sitting area. we ordered hot chocolate and cold coffee was ice cream. both were pretty good. plus point, if you go there at the time of sunset and get to sit outside, you can also view the sunset from the cafe which is very beautiful.

this famous cafe in chowk bazar is a major attraction of every tourist.. they have really quality bakery items.. which tastes amazing.. and added to it a hot cup of tea makes things perfect.. u can buy and make parcel of various cakes, pastries, cookies, breads n chocolates. trust me u won't be disappointed. a must visit place in darjeeling

i visited glenarys the first time. the place is really beautiful with a scenic view and the food is very tasty and at affordable prices.

desired to visit this place n yes it did live up to my expectations. view is good. ordered for fried eggs,bacon n sausages, needless to say it did satiate my palate. even the cheese omlette was yumm. not a fan of black tea so won't comment.

this is a very good place for people who love bakery items. they have nice open air sitting area with view.
tastes are really nice and price are affordable.

3.glenary's: ambience excellent but food quality not so good it was ok for us..we had tried chicken sizzler , mac and cheese with bacon.
