the vegan menu was a huge disappointment. there was no love in any of the dishes and it was as if they just put together a last minute vegan menu just for the sake of having options. thefoodwas unbelievably below average, and at the price point it was at, it's just plain ridiculous. the risotto was hardly edible and although i hardly leavefoodbehind, this had to be one of the few times i did. the only thing that saved the meal from being a complete disaster was the chocolate tart. it was also very quiet for a friday night, i think i saw about 3 occupied tables but to be fair we did get there at 6pm.

since it is considered fine dining, i'm guessing quite a few people would go here for a special occasion, but i don't think it would be the best option. unless the menu changes, i will not be back.

i've been here for brekkie. all you can
eat style. it's on level 2 of the hilton hotel sydney.
considerate of the customers there, dresscode should be fine as casual.
but the restaurant is very classy and nice so we dressed up a bit.hehe
most of the customers are staying at the hotel i guess.

there were mini bakery section, yogrut bar and fresh juice bar. i was really enjoyed!!

i've tried most of thefood(quite full!!haha) and those were tasty and fresh.
staff were very friendly and i was very comfortable to stay there and enjoying my breakfast.

came here for dinner while staying at the hilton's
staff are very friendly and helpful, awesome atmosphere. thefoodwas good. we ordered steaks and it was cooked really well..

was not impressed with this establishment. service was a bit uptight imo, the waiter repeatedly told us not to order fries because he believed we couldnt finish because we ordered the degustation (i get that hes trying to be "considerate", but dont deny us the choice especially when the customer request it multiple times). thefoodquality was below average, amuse bouche was very plain. waiter asked for our opinion and we said it was ok, which seemed to astonish him and he repeated his question (why?) to which we ended replying it wasn't that great (it truly wasn't that great, it wasn't bad just not amazing). finish the course and was not full and yes we couldve ordered fries and still be fine. wont recommend.

fantastic restaurant. luke mangan has created a fantastic experience with glass. thefoodwas amazing and the wine selection unbelievble. this restaurant probably has some of the friendliest staff have ever come across. you have to try the wagu - it was the best thing i have ever eaten.

came here for a celebratory dinner. had not heard much about it previously so i didn't much any expectations. atmosphere was nice, however really crammed and noisy, i could hear the conversation at the table next to me.
the service was great though, as you would expect at a place like this.foodwas okay, had 3 courses, can't say i loved it.

a modern australian restaurant residing in the hilton hotel in the heart of sydney’s cbd. you will get classic brassiere style dining with delicately flavour and attentive service. 🙂

all thefoodwas tasty and in generous serving, especially the entree japanese inspired organic egg crab omelette and the dessert vanilla creme brûlée. my riverina fillet steak was cooked perfectly medium rare as per order, however the port wine jus reduction can be cooked a little bit longer. 😌 curry spiced snapper had a beautiful crisp throughout, the flavour of the curry gravy was light without overpowering the delicate fish flavour. chocolate fondant was a bit over, didn’t get that molten centre running out but the taste and presentation were spot on.

overall the experience was great,foodwas delicious, prices were reasonable for the quality and portions. will definitely return someday. 🙂

glass never disappoints. the service is impeccable and thefoodis exquisite. the highlight dish was the organic egg crab omelette with enoki mushrooms and miso mustard broth. i could have eaten bowls of that broth! #glassbrasserie #finedining #omelette

i suffered an allergic reaction from the potato mash, as there was no description of truffle in the menu.

aside from that, we did receive desserts on the house for some mishaps earlier on

service was average,foodwas average

i would probably not come back again

mmmmm.... highly recommend coming to this place when you’re looking to treat yourself (or someone else!). got the 7 course degustation and really enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. it’s a much louder restaurant than your other fine dining restaurants but it also provides a much more comfortable atmosphere for you to enjoy your food. service was also great, the waiter was highly attentive and not intrusive like those at sepia. they knew when to come and take the bowls and were very polite and friendly. highlights from the night was the sashimi 3 ways, the crab omelette, and barramundi.

the sashimi 3 ways was so well prepared and gave you a nice balance of sweet, sour and savoury. great texture and a standout dish.

the crab omelette was also so delicately made and had a lot of thought out into it. the dashi broth was so rich and balanced well with the omelette. delicious!

the barramundi was also so well cooked and i really liked the indian flavours shining through this dish. it was very well balanced and everything on it was cooked to perfection.

the other dishes were also good, only one i didn’t really get was the lamb dish. this came mexican inspired and i felt there was a disconnect between the lamb and the rest of the dish. i didn’t really understand the textures of the chickpeas and kidney beans and how it would work with the lamb. this would’ve tasted much nicer if they had made it more simple (like lamb and mash).

dessert and cheese options were also delightful. the dessert came with deliciously made panna cotta and a sharp mango sorbet. they complemented eachother well. cocktails were also very well made here. i liked that they got rid of the ice so that it wouldn’t water down the drink. my favourite was the australian - this cocktail was delicious!

overall, a fantastic night. althoughfoodwas not mindblowing, there was consistency across the dishes and was a great degustation. i’ll definitely be back here to try their regular menu.

came here for a special dinner and thefooddid not disappoint.the restaurant has a nice ambience and is very big.unfortunately, the service here wasn't the greatest and left me feeling frustrated as no waiters came to take our orders for a while. as this was a special dinner, i was left feeling a little upset. i assume the service was slower as all the tables here were full and so there were a lot of customers.
food was nice, service was ok.
