classic sicilian restaurant. nice for special occasions and date nights. the lawrence bread is one of the best things on the entire planet to put into your mouth, if not galaxy. the veal bolognese is myfavoriteso i rarely stray from it. everything here is good. including the superb service. jason is great. i have heard butch is too. but, everyone is! the atmosphere reminds me of my late sicilian grand mother's house. feels like home to me. love ❤️.

mr.. my wife and i went to eat dinner around 8 p.m. wed., jan. 15, 2014. gino's was my wife'sfavoriterestaurant because of the food first and foremost. we ordered drinks (iced tea & diet coke), and both ordered our meal and when the bread was brought to our table, there was a big, dead spider baked in the bread!!!!! needless to say gino's is now not even close to being on my wife's radar of delicious dining experiences! this is a basic, yet huge failure, and when the basics fall behind, there isn't long until the foundation crumbles.

always delicious. gino's is one of myfavoriterestaurants!! they are consistently good! the veal parmeson is wonderful...as well as the bread!! this is myfavoritespot for "date night" with the hubby :)

quite possibly my best meal, ever.... just came back from my nye/5th anniversary dinner at gino's. i've eaten there a few times in the past, and it's always been good, but i never thought it was anything special. however, tonight's meal ranks up there with some of my better meals at commanders palace as perhaps my best ever. ordered a tasty bottle of italian red that our knowledgeable waiter recommended and placed my order. started off w/ the arancine -- on a scale of 1-10, it was a 10. had mama's special salad topped with crabmeat, also excellent. two orders of laurence bread were scrumptious. for an entree i had the veal sorrentina which was also great, as was the angel hair pasta and red sauce that accompanied it. for dessert i had the almond cream cake, which instantly became one of myfavoritedesserts, anywhere. i finished off with an espresso and a shot of bailey's irish cream. meal w/ tip was $150 and it was worth every penny. i left fat and happy. definitely tops my list offavoriteitalian places, along with sal and judy's in lacombe.

good italiano food!. when it comes to italian food i am very tickey about how the sauce, or gravey, taste, and the different types of noodles used. this is one of the best italian restaurants i have eaten at in awhile. i love their meat sauce and also their home made salads. their meatballs are cook just right with the right blend of celery, onion, cheese, meat, rosemary, and garlic. their spaghetti is amazingly great. my wife'sfavoriteis the eggplant parmesan. it is great too. i often get this dish with the yummy egg plant, meat, cheese, and tomato slices. also, the veal cutlets are another great dish to try if you want something different. love their bread and whipped butter, and the service and staff are super friendly and nice. prices are also very good for the amount of food a person receives. i enjoy taking friends here that have never eaten at this place. it is a great place for families too. try it out next time your in baton rouge.

best eggplant parmesan. eggplant parmesan is myfavoriteitalian meal and gino's simply has the best i have ever eaten.

yum. i love gino's and have been going there for years. their lunch menu is very affordable. but, my all-timefavoriteis to order the laurence bread and get the crawfish arancine with angel hair pasta and pink sauce -- make your tongue slap your brains out!
