fuzzy's taco shop

fuzzy's brings it home. fuzzy's tacos is an all-aroundgreatplace to eat while in downtown bricktown, oklahoma city. i had the nachos along with a side order of chips n' guacamole. the nachos had 3 different types of cheese (queso, shredded cheddar and a very tasty white crumbled cheese) along with ground beef and jalapeno peppers.
the cheeses really addgreatflavor and are probably the best nachos i've ever had.

the guacamole is freshly made and tastedgreatas well. the customer service was outstanding. when i brought my tray inside from the patio, several staff members offered to take it from me at once. i am impressed!

the prices are about what you'd expect for eating downtown--not fast food prices but not as high as a sit down place.

i highly recommend this place. fresh food, artfully prepared,greatingredients, wonderful staff members. i will definitely visit fuzzy's again real soon.

i'm in love with fuzzy's. from the ambiance to the buzz to the friendly staff, what's not to love?  (well, ok there is that "we're turning into a big chain" feel and the overly sweet drink specials).  but yowsa, there's a drink menu! margaritas, sangrias, beers.  the chicken quesadilla is definitely my favorite. but the chips and salsa was agreataddition. if i hadn't made it a meal and broadened out my order i probably would not love this place as much.

fish taco came highly recommended, but i was not a fan. in fact most of the tacos are a bit blander than i was thinking - perhaps too much lettuce. i long for mexican street tacos, but that's just not the vibe here. can't knock that though.

the staff and efficient ordering/pick-up system they have is definitely the highlight, which makes for even a long line out the door manageable. fear not! you will find a seat! you will have a good time! just a little patience, my little grasshopper.

great baha mexican food and atmosphere. ingredients always taste fresh and i've never had a bad dish from the menu. all the employees are very friendly and its agreatplace for the webster groves community to come together and hang out.

second time was better then the first.... we tried this place when they first opened nasty food..
but like we always do we went back and tried it again after a year...greatfood something changed for the good.
we go here about once a week and the food isgreat, the service is fantastic ..
at lunch time you will most likely wait in line but don't leave the line moves fast and it's well worth the wait..

meh. neat place, but the tacos had very little meat and too much lettuce. decent beer selection and the chips and salsa were ok.greatlocation, but the food was just nothing special.

addition to review. after emailing them i did hear back. they stated that they were waiting for the person that handles complaints to be back in the store to respond. they could have improved by making it clear that it would be a while before i was contacted, but they did say they checked the chicken after i called and removed what was on the line to be safe. they also offered to make up for the meal.

going downhill :(. this place used to be really good but has been going downhill. we ordered today and there was a bone in my chicken taco. i called to let them know and after telling me they would check the chicken and get back to me, no one called back. it's obvious they are rushing the prep of the food which was also seen by the sloppy way the tacos we got were assembled, with liquid dripping out of the foil wrappers and very inconsistent amounts of ingredients between the tacos. there was even brown avocado in the guacamole - one of my favorite items from there which has always been very fresh in the past. i could have gotten over the rushed manner in which the food was thrown together if it weren't for the addition of the horrible customer service. sad to see someplace with such agreatlocation letting the quality of the food go downhill.

food good margarita lame. we went there last friday before a concert. the food was good and the fire roasted salsa great. the margarita i ordered and the marlin hurricane my wife ordered were nothing but juice not an adult beverage more like kool aid as my wife commented. too bad because last time we were there we were impressed with this place. next time i'll order the food and stick to water as it is less expensive and has the same amount of alcohol as their drinks, maybe it was the 22 ? year old that was playing bartender? friendly staff but not a place to get a decent drink if you look at my review from a year ago you will notice the change, i've heard all of bricktown has an attitude change towards adult beverages as in price gouging is the new normal? i hope not

great place for bricktown. we stopped in there on the way to the aerosmith show. it was a good choice, although you wait in line to order it moves pretty quick and the service is quick and friendly. alsogreatprices for drinks for bricktown. we had a margarita that was good sized and well made for 6 dollars for bricktown. that rocks! try it i'm glad they are there

after hearing about fuzzy's from multiple freinds, my mates and i finally decided to try it out after practice one morning. have ti say, wasn't dissapointed. its not a really fancy place trying to do upscale bricktown food; and thats why so many young people like it. we split several fish tocos and the chicken qeusidilla. both were really good and the shop had agreatatomosphere. it may not be something appealing to older generations, but a fun place for the younh adults.

impressive!. this place is very well-managed. the food is always good no matter how busy they are. everything we have ordered has tasted good. the drinks are good to for the most part. a couple we tried were disappointing. the line is usually long but it moves fast and usually you do not have to wait long to get your food after you order. the prices are low too so if you don't want to spend a lot of money it's agreatchoice!

been here twice & each time its been excellent! the first time i just had a couple margaritas, those were really good. second time my husband brought me here for my birthday. i had the chicken salad. it was awesome!greatplace!

wife and i almost always get the big salad now.....my only regret is my stomach cannot hold more.....the avocado ranch dressing with the seasoned pork isgreatand an even greater value!

this place is great! good food at a good price, and the staff aregreatas well!

my first fuzzy's!. this was my initiation into the fuzzy's franchise. since this visit (in september, 2012), i've found one in my home area (across town, but worth the 30 minute drive!) and visited the one at campus corner. service here was exceptional, which was amazing, since the line behind us went down the hall, out the door, and wound it's way across the courtyard by the canal! all the patrons seemed to be having agreattime. the food was fresh, and that garlic sauce is truly addictive. we had the chips and queso, too, and the seasoning on the chips was a nice change from the norm.

dined here last night expecting much more.. very very one note. and by that i mean, there's nothing special about it. a very noticeable lack of seasoning and if you didn't know better. you couldn't tell the taste between chicken or pork or beef. don't get me wrong, it's a fun place. andgreatfor kids. but don't expect much more than a step above taco bell.
