fuzzy's brings it home.fuzzy'stacos is an all-around great place to eat while in downtown bricktown, oklahoma city. i had the nachos along with a side order of chips n' guacamole. the nachos had 3 different types of cheese (queso, shredded cheddar and a very tasty white crumbled cheese) along with ground beef and jalapeno peppers.
the cheeses really add great flavor and are probably the best nachos i've ever had.

the guacamole is freshly made and tasted great as well. the customer service was outstanding. when i brought my tray inside from the patio, several staff members offered to take it from me at once. i am impressed!

the prices are about what you'd expect for eating downtown--not fast food prices but not as high as a sit down place.

i highly recommend this place. fresh food, artfully prepared, great ingredients, wonderful staff members. i will definitely visitfuzzy'sagain real soon.

some reviewers don't seem to understand that a taco shop is not necessarily going to be traditional or authentic mexican food.fuzzy'sdoes what they do very well. dollar taco night has become a weekly habit.

why so much hype???. this was my second visit tofuzzy'sand i still can't figure out what the big deal is. my burrito was half the size of one from chipotle yet the same price as chipotle. and why were there carrots in my veggie burrito? so strange. yeah, i won't be back.

be prepared for a long line.. i would love to givefuzzy'sa 5 but i just can't. i enjoy their food and would be likely to return if it weren't for the long line every time we try to visit. it doesn't seem to matter what day or what time we try to go, the line is always out the door. we always end up leaving because, while the food is good, it just isn't worth that long of a wait for us. if you go, i would recommend the chicken tacos or the tempura shrimp salad. other than that, the queso, rice & beans and other menu items are so, so. the beer prices are excellent though!

nacho mountain. let me preface by saying that nachos are the last thing on the menu i would typically order at a tex mex place, but we cravefuzzy'sjust for their fantastic and enormous plate of nachos! smothered in meat, white queso, fetta cheese lettuce/tomato/etc. almost too big for my husband and i to share.... almost!

i can't speak much for the other food, order the mountain of nachos and you won't be disappointed. :)

after hearing aboutfuzzy'sfrom multiple freinds, my mates and i finally decided to try it out after practice one morning. have ti say, wasn't dissapointed. its not a really fancy place trying to do upscale bricktown food; and thats why so many young people like it. we split several fish tocos and the chicken qeusidilla. both were really good and the shop had a great atomosphere. it may not be something appealing to older generations, but a fun place for the younh adults.

my first fuzzy's!. this was my initiation into thefuzzy'sfranchise. since this visit (in september, 2012), i've found one in my home area (across town, but worth the 30 minute drive!) and visited the one at campus corner. service here was exceptional, which was amazing, since the line behind us went down the hall, out the door, and wound it's way across the courtyard by the canal! all the patrons seemed to be having a great time. the food was fresh, and that garlic sauce is truly addictive. we had the chips and queso, too, and the seasoning on the chips was a nice change from the norm.

fantatsic tacos and chips/salsa - lame sides. i went tofuzzy'syesterday with a close friend that has been talking up the place for a few months. i ordered a taco meal with a chicken soft taco and a spicy pulled pork soft taco. since it was a meal i got rice and black beans. i also ordered chips and salsa for an appetizer.

the service was overall pretty good as the person that took my order was smiling and enthusiastic. i was confused by what to do to get my appetizer as she said something about it as i walked away. apparently, i could have picked it up before my order was ready which i didn't realize. anyway, i should have asked. either way, my order was ready within 5 minutes and i just picked up my chips and salsa at that time.

the chips and salsa were great. there was some pepper and some other spices on the chips and some of them with a lot of the spice were downright hot (as in spicy). i enjoyed it though, because the salsa wasn't overly spicy so it ended up being at the right level for me. the tacos were very good. i enjoyed the feta and that garlic sauce/cheese combination on each of them. it really gives them a lot of flavor. i preferred the chicken over the pork just a bit, but i didn't find the spicy pulled pork to be spicy in the slightest. either way, they were fantastic and miles above most other tacos that i have had before.

the only disappointment that i had was with the sides. the rice tasted just like some uncle ben's microwaveable rice so that was unfortunate. it wasn't a tex-mex or mexican style rice either. the black beans were served in some kind of broth and also weren't very good. they were better than the rice, but not by much.

bottom line: i would go back, but i wouldn't bother with the sides. i would just order another amazing taco instead!

hard to get easy cuisine wrong, but. mexican food is easy to make really, really well. especially for what's basically a taco and burrito stand. but st. louis continues its tradition of getting it wrong, and serving up bland mexican food, accompanied by salsa that bears little resemblance to anything mexican (or even southwestern) and far too much resemblance to supermarket jarred salsas (aka ketchup with onions and peppers mixed in.) i decided to finally tryfuzzy'staco shop, hoping it would at least come close to the old flaco's tacos... st. louis' best attempt at baja-style tacos. unfortunately, it doesn't. i ordered three different tacos to sample the variety: grilled fish, tempura shrimp, and shredded pork. how all three of those could taste the same is beyond me, but they did. yes, they're cheap, but so is a really good taco stand. the owner needs to make a trip to santa barbara's la super-rica taqueria, or to some of the great taco stands in arizona. this food is so simple, it doesn't require more cost to get it right. just a desire to stop "midwesternizing" what midwesterners love when they travel elsewhere. don't dumb it down for us. furthermore, about that salsa... i asked if the tacos came with salsa, or if they had a simple salsa bar where we could choose our own, and the counter person told me no. that i had to buy salsa separately. so i did, but when i got my food, there was salsa that came with the tacos, and a separate chunky salsa that i purchased. it came with chips. if you don't need the chips (they taste like the americanized chips you buy in a bag at the grocery store, so i wouldn't waste your money) then don't order the salsa. your tacos will come with their own sauce. both salsas taste bland. there's some heat, but no real flavor. i wanted to love this place, but sadly, no. it really wouldn't take a lot of effort to make some adjustments to get this right, and i hope they do.

special tacos. food here totally rocks. my favorite taco is the tempura shrimp taco -- fried shrimp. my favorite taco is the spicy pork taco. my favorite taco is the crawfish taco. these babies are anything but bland. they use fresh crisp produce, along with some sort of special garlic sauce and feta, yes feta, cheese. on the tables are bottles of their super awesome taco sauce that just bursts the flavors loose. the atmosphere at this location is really cool with lots of hdtvs, sports, sports, and more sports.

an express counter for alcoholic beverages? too cool.

been eating atfuzzy'sin the dallas area often, and am so happy they are here in central oklahoma now. this location had a few growing pains during the first couple-three weeks of operation, but they've really responded and tightened things up.

this place is a must!

awesome. went tofuzzy'slast night. had a fish soft taco, a crawfish soft taco (awesome), chips and guacamole. the wife had a chicken taco. we split the horny toad drink. 60 oz frozen margarita with a sunken sol beer. now that quenched my thirst!
we are headed back tofuzzy'snow to thunder up and watch the okc thunder beat the heat in game 5 to bring it back to okc.
think i'll have a couple crawfish soft taco's and another horny toad and watch the game.
