luch at fuzzy's. i visited lower bricktown yesterday to go to a movie and had time for lunch before it started, so i noticed this place which was new to me so i decided to give it a try, glad i did, it is nice and clean, very friendly and helpful staff.
i looked the menu over and decided on tacos, i ordered one of pork and one of beef brisket they were served quickly and were very good, my only compaint would be that the meat could have been hotter temp wise, but with all of the cold ingredients that go on a tex-mex style taco sometimes this is difficult all in all very good and reasonably priced, i'll be back i'm sure !

hard to get easy cuisine wrong, but. mexican food is easy to make really, really well. especially for what's basically a taco and burrito stand. but st. louis continues its tradition of getting it wrong, and serving up bland mexican food, accompanied by salsa that bears little resemblance to anything mexican (or even southwestern) and far too much resemblance to supermarket jarred salsas (aka ketchup with onions and peppers mixed in.) i decided to finally try fuzzy's taco shop, hoping it would at least come close to the old flaco's tacos... st. louis' best attempt at baja-style tacos. unfortunately, it doesn't. i ordered three different tacos to sample the variety: grilled fish, tempura shrimp, and shredded pork. how all three of those could taste the same is beyond me, but they did. yes, they're cheap, but so is a really good taco stand. the owner needs to make a trip to santa barbara's la super-rica taqueria, or to some of the great taco stands in arizona. this food is so simple, it doesn't require more cost to get it right. just a desire to stop "midwesternizing" what midwesterners love when they travel elsewhere. don't dumb it down for us. furthermore, about that salsa... i asked if the tacos came with salsa, or if they had a simple salsa bar where we could choose our own, and the counter person told me no. that i had to buy salsa separately. so i did, but when i got my food, there was salsa that came with the tacos, and a separate chunky salsa that i purchased. it came with chips. if you don't need the chips (they taste like the americanized chips you buy in a bag at the grocery store, so i wouldn't waste your money) then don't order the salsa. your tacos will come with their own sauce. both salsas taste bland. there's some heat, but no real flavor. i wanted to love this place, but sadly, no. it really wouldn't take a lot of effort to make some adjustments to get this right, and i hope they do.

special tacos. food here totally rocks. my favorite taco is the tempura shrimp taco -- fried shrimp. my favorite taco is the spicy pork taco. my favorite taco is the crawfish taco. these babies are anything but bland. they use fresh crisp produce, along with some sort of special garlic sauce and feta, yes feta, cheese. on the tables are bottles of their super awesome taco sauce that just bursts the flavors loose. the atmosphere at this location is really cool with lots of hdtvs, sports, sports, and more sports.

an express counter for alcoholic beverages? too cool.

been eating at fuzzy's in the dallas area often, and am so happy they are here in central oklahoma now. this location had a few growing pains during the first couple-three weeks of operation, but they've really responded and tightened things up.

this place is a must!

i tried the chicken flour enchilada, it was so tasty. the sauce spread over the enchilada was flavorful. it was a little salty.

awesome. went to fuzzy's last night. had a fish soft taco, a crawfish soft taco (awesome), chips and guacamole. the wife had a chicken taco. we split the horny toad drink. 60 oz frozen margarita with a sunken sol beer. now that quenched my thirst!
we are headed back to fuzzy's now to thunder up and watch the okc thunder beat the heat in game 5 to bring it back to okc.
think i'll have a couple crawfish soft taco's and another horny toad and watch the game.

the food is amazing, however it seems it is drawing a very snooty snotty crowd and not much fun when someone tries to start a fight over a table, wont be back because if it!

bland!. i got taken here on mothers day i had been so excited to try this place and was terribly disappointed :( i ordered the tacos, taco bell has more flavoring in their meat! it was all very bland and i was disappointed with my "strawberry" margarita as well, it had a small bit of strawberry squirted on the top of a regular margarita. i have been on the search for a new favorite mexican restaurant since moving to mustang and apparently that search remains ongoing.

i got to try fuzzy's on the soft opening and i've been back twice already. it's a little overpriced but that's to be expected in bricktown. the feta cheese on the tacos is a little different. the habanero sauce adds a nice touch. the guacamole and grilled shrimp tacos are really good. i want to try the chorizo, potato, egg and cheese breakfast burrito but they don't open until 10:00 and i'm starving before then!
