three trips and counting. this is a great little italian place that is in an old house. the sauce is all made in-house, fresh and delicious. the wait staff are like old friends even though you just met them. we've made it over here three times to eat, but we've driven over more than that, we just keep finding them closed (we always forget the hours). even my picky eater (the daughter) loves frank's. man, just writing this review i got hungry for frank's!

beautiful restaurant. that's all i have nice to say. never had a refill of my water, ordered chicken and got eggplant and then was told that our table confused her(only one person asked for a change from what was on the menu), the eggplant that was ordered took 20 more minutes and an eggplant that was ordered was a combo of chicken and eggplant. very odd. asked for dessert to go and it came out in a small cup....very disappointing

still good after all these years.... it had been at least 10 years since i had been here with my parents, and we decided to go since it had been so long. it was good back then, and it was refreshingly good when we went two weeks ago. we each ordered a different pasta dish. my fettucine alfredo was very good, and when i asked for mushrooms to be added to the dish, the kitchen had no problem accommodating my request. my husband enjoyed his chicken parmesan, my dad enjoyed his baked chicken pasta dish, and my mom enjoyed the classic spaghetti marinara. the house chianti was well priced and tasty. overall, we loved it and will be back again.

nasty!. i don't know how this place has stayed open so long it's nasty the food has absolutely no flavor i've gone several times and it's always the same. my moms always wanted to try it so when she came down to visit and wanted to eat there for lunch i didn't argue with her and tell her no cause everyone does have different taste buds. let me tell you my mom is not a picky person and never complains about her food so when she took the first bite of her spaghetti and made a face i knew she didn't like it! sure enough she couldn't even eat the food she said she couldn't believe how horrible it tasted. well we learned and will definitely not be going back.

disappointing dinner. the food was bland, service was decent - but overall a real tummy turner! sad to say but not the same place i fondly remember as a child

best ever. perfect down home italian with great atmosphere and great help that really treats you like family. i order the combination, as it has spaghetti, ravioli, and lasagna and it is inexpensive and great! i urge every one that visits corpus that they will love it and have a blast

once is enough!!!!. got to frank's with great anticipation and a very good appetite. to say i was dissapointed is putting it mildly.what a bummer! super bland food, no taste period.i tried to doctor it with salt and pepper and some of the
parmesan at the table.i finally got up and poked in the kitchen to find the waiter and asked for some crushed red pepper that i'm sure has been sitting there for a few years because of the very dark color. don't this folks know to throw out old condiments?...evidently not...we both left our food on the plates ...why even bring it home? never again!!!!

terrible service & dishonest billing. was charged gratuity for 4 people and when asked why. the waiter stated "because you were probably only going to leave a $2 tip. was overcharged $15. explanation was that they were a small buisness. charged for bread basket refill and for my two toddlers to share a plate. please stay away!!!!!!!!!

an old favorite. a little out of the way, but worth the trip. love the chicken san marino. a nice family restaurant run by a nice family.

if you like italian food this is your place. my wife and i have been coming to this place for years and we have never ever had either bad service or bad food. if you live in corpus christi and have never been here you have got to try this place. if you are from out of town you really got to try this place. it will be another reason to come back to corpus christi.

really good!. this is a really good place to eat. i had cheese ravioli & my husband had lasagna. they both were awesome. true itilian place to eat!

really good food! great people too!. as a visitor to corpus, it was nice to find a little local place to eat. the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and the staff was really attentive and gracious. i had the chicken parmasian and it was good, as was the bread and salad i got. the death by chocolate was also tasty. will defineately visit again when i'm in town.

great!. i went to franks with a very large group, over 20. service was great, even though it was our first time there they made us feel like we were regulars. the only thing better than the service was the food. i had pizza and my wife had chicken parm, both were great

great lunch. had lunch at frank's on friday the 26th of april. excellent food and service great atmosphere and will recommend completely. had the chicken parmesan and my wife had the egg plant parmesan and both were excellent.

we ate here for our anniversary and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was excellent .i the combo plate and my wife had the ravioli and both were very good. we also bought a bottle of there house dressing which we thought was very good.
