food was excellent. they take reservations so the summer long wait is eliminated. the waitress, nicole, was very good. i got the cod savannah which was excellent. son got chicken parm which he loved. wife and daughter got crab cakes which they couldnt stop talking about. greatatmosphereand great food. i'll be back before the end of the week. gotta try the prime rib, which looked awsome!!

the food andatmospherewas great! large menu to choose from. our waitress was not so great. she looked super annoyed, never smiled, and was very short with us.

our favorite restaurant!! the lobster mac and cheese is to die for and my husband said his steak is the best he has had. the chicken strips as an appetizer were delish! wonderfulatmosphereand both times we have been we had excellently service. our waiter was funny and fast even though he was super busy. very accommodating to the kids at our table and made sure to get their milk/food out first to keep them occupied/happy! don't miss this place!!

how many thumbs up are you allowed to give?. four words: prime rib, medium rare. that's all you need to know.

however, here's a little more....
service was great,atmospherewas great, food was better than great. we had reservations for a party of sixteen and were immediately seated. no one had a single complaint. the wife had the lobster mac 'n' cheese which had easily identifiable chunks of lobster in it (listed as a shelled out 1-1/4 pounder), not shreds like you'll get at some places. i drool every time i think about my prime rib. the only thing that ruined it? going to the crazy crab the next night and getting worse food and service for more money plus having to sit outside with no a/c in order to not have to wait over an hour since they don't take reservations.

firsy year, had broiled fish and did not like it; went back next time and ordered the filet mignon and it was delicious. the service was fine and theatmosphereis very neat. my husband and i look forward to going back; update: third year to try frankie bones and i ordered the lobster mac and cheese. lobster was great, but i thought the pasta sauce should've been creamier. the creme brulee was delicious. the bread here is amazing with the whipped butter!

we made a reservation online, the hostess was very friendly and helpful. our waitress lauren was wonderful. she made great recommendations and guided us to get the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. the managed brought us our steaks and the banana split was wonderful. theatmospherewas romantic and a mix of homey and classy. wonderful stop for a taste of hilton head.

this restaurant was highly recommended to us so we thought we'd try it. upon entering, service and attention was excellent, however, that changed. my wife ordered unsweetened tea and side salad. i ordered steak and shrimp dinner plate with fries and a coke. the server brought us hard crusted bread, almost too hard to bite off, first strike. then brought us water (should have been unsweetened tea) and a coke, second strike. when the food was brought out they forgot to bring the fries with my order, third strike. for our first visit this was not what i expected at all. fail! on a good note, the decor andatmosphereis excellent. very clean.

disappointing visit.. we arrived 20 minutes early. our table was not yet ready, but the hostess seated us next to a noisy family with an active child. this was not theatmospherewe had hoped for. the food was disappointing, especially for the price. we had the calamari appetizer which was under-seasoned and rubbery and included only rings. my wife had eggplant parmigiana which consisted of 2 excessively thick, undercooked slices of eggplant. these were covered with cheese and sauce and plated on spaghetti. i had the lobster mac and cheese. the cheese sauce arrived in liquid form although it thickened as it cooled and i repeatedly tossed the pasta. this should have been done before serving the dish. i would neither recommend nor return to this restaurant.

the food was excellent and there was an wide variety in food styles on the menu to please all palettes. the service was friendly and consistent. portions were very large, even the lunch portions. theatmospherewas fun and family friendly. an excellent. restaurant all around. i would highly recommend it!

my favorite brunch and dinner spot on hilton head island! coolatmosphereand excellent staff.

my wife and i enjoyed a drink in the very busy bar area. the calamari was ok, but the spaghetti and meatballs were very solid. overall the combination ofatmosphereand food made for an enjoyable evening out for us. a nice, romantic place in hh.

great food!. take it from a maine boy..the lobsta mac n' cheese is a real humdinger!

having grown up in maine i'm a bit of a skeptic when i see any lobster dish outside new england, but these guys really do this dish right.

theatmospherewas a nice divergence on hilton head. the service was good too, our waiter was more than willing to steer our decision when asked.

greatatmosphereand food. we spent one month vacationing in hilton head and ate at many, many restaurants and hands down this is the best one. it has great atmosphere, wonderful service and the food is terrific and plentiful. this is on our list for future visits. would highly recommend trying frankie bones, you won't be disappointed.

great food. my family and i recently vacationed in hilton head and had the pleasure of dining at frankie bones on main street the night before we left for home. what a delight! this family-friendly restaurant was so gracious to my husband and myself and our 2 children. we were seated in a booth in the bar area, and our waitress was a sweet and tiny little gal who couldn't have been nicer to us. she said she had 2 little boys and she could relate to our 2 youngsters also. she made sure all 4 of our needs were met. the food was delicious, and it was certainly the best restaurant we visited while on our vacation.


can't wait to return next summer! we will definitely be dining at frankie bones more than once on our next visit.

lobster mac n cheese. my family and i had a wonderful experience here! the food is wonderful, the service was excellent and theatmosphereis beautiful! we will most definately dine at this establishment the next time we are in town!

great place. went there for the first time and had a blast.such great food andatmospherei can't wait to go again.
