beer emporium. i can't say i would recommend thisplaceas a restaurant. this is a beer emporium, now i love to try new beers and they have some unique offerings here. if you're like me they have just the thing. it's a tray of 5 different beers in 5 ounce glasses all from one region. they call it "beer flight" we tried the germany flight i believe it was $11.

we ordered sandwiches they were ok, i wouldn't go back to eat here, i may go back to have drinks with friends though. the problem i had with theplaceis that they have so many beers they use a walk in cooler. so all the beers i tried were not as cold as i like. they were more like cool. i know there is some beer purest that will tell you about what temperature beer in other countries is served at etc. but this is texas and i like my beer really cold.

i would like to recognize jessica our server, delightful service and very helpful and knowledgeable. i really enjoyed her story about the weekend crowds and the girls that filter in and order a "margarita"?

thisplaceis great - very friendly and they greet you by name and really know their beer

a greatplaceto hang out with friends or the special one! you get variety of beers but do try the samplers first to find out the one that suites your taste.
evenings would be the best time to visit as you can sit in the open, and have a great time with your friends.
food menu does not have a lot of options.

not for sissies. ok, i should have never come here if i wanted an irish coffee-yes i know it's a beerplacebut i didn't feel like beer. so, i get handed to me a cup of coffee and a shot of bailey's-not an irish coffee. anyway, i ended up ordering a beer, and split some sort of pretzel/wurst thingy with my husband and it was real good. but, it was rainy and cold and i wanted an irish coffee!

if you like aplacewith a lot of beers to choose from, this is your place. good atmosphere and pub food as well.

beer is why you go. this isn't a restaurant. it's a bar that happens to serve food. nothing is spectacular, most of it is likely frozen or pre-packaged, but whatever. it's only supposed to soak up all of the tasty brews you'll likely be sucking down. no otherplacein town has this many beers on tap, some great variety and there's new stuff all the time. if you like beer, real beer, thisplaceshould be in your rotation.

i enjoyed the pear cider a little too much! not a beer drinker, but that was tasty! also tried the kick-ass chicken. it was good but i wouldn't go so far tocall it kick-ass! all around coolplacethough!

love this bar. this is a greatplaceto hang out and try new beer. it gets pretty crowded on weekends but is still one of my favs in ftw. if you're lucky, the acts from bass hall will stop in and down a few with you. :)
