i found the foodchoicesto be limited . there's nothing to rave about the flavors. dishes were your average beef caldereta, spicy squid, pata tim, crispy seafood noodle, sweet and sour pork, grilled chicken, fish, ratatouille, pumpkin soup, pizza, pasta, noodle soup, a small salad bar, dessert spread, taco bar, japanese food limited to maki and a bit of salmon sashimi.

it's much better to go to the nearby buffet restaurant inside the mall which has wider selection of food and is priced the same as the discounted price at flavors.

we're not totally disappointed with our lunch. good customer service shown by the staff made up for the limited food choices. without the credit card promo, the original price of php 1400 is pricey. i must say we will not have a second visit even if there's a promo ; will explore other restaurants.

went here for my birthday. wanted to go for a buffet that was different from the usual viking's and buffet101 that has really gotten boring. flavors has the perfect ambiance, staff are really nice and the food tastes good. however there is limited choices, or perhaps i was just sad the seafoodchoicesonly included 2 kinds of fish dishes. no shrimps crabs mussels at our night. i loved the mongolian station (you get to choose veggies and meat to put in the rice) cuz it tasted better than the longganisa fried rice out in display. there is also meat grilling station, where the marinated beef and chicken tastes good newly cooked. the carving station was not well stocked, only small portions of ribs and chuck beef was being served unlike old reviews where there was bigger portions on display. there was a make your own caesar salad that was fun, but not enough toppings to make a salad other than a caesar. i absolutely loved the walnut choco cookie and it paired well with free flowing coffee ( i tried brewed and latte) and tea (dilmah chamomile, green tea, earl gray, etc). the other food available were baby potatoes, fish in schezuan sauce, baked pasta, pork balls, various maki rolls, 2 kinds of soup, etc. i would say the place isn't worth it for their full price but we got the 50% discount in eatigo so it's ok. reservation at 8:30 but they let us start eating 8pm. i would go back only with the discount again lol.

wide array ofchoicesranging from filipino, japanese to indian cuisine. personally, for breakfast, i’m happy with the traditional filipino style with rice and different viands.

i loved their juices specially their mango juice! they have numbers provided on your table which you can give to the different custom sections of the breakfast buffet spread. i did not pass up the egg station and the noodles station (perfect for the cold weather). they have a taho stand where you can prepare your own personalized taho. they have the bread station which i skipped since i was already too full with my heavy breakfast.

food was good and since we want to dine very early so we won’t be bothered with the crowd, we went down as early as 6am.

service is excellent. lots ofchoicesin their ala carte menu which are reasonably priced. i ordered their pork sinigang for just 295 pesos and it comes with rice and it's good for 2-3 persons. quality of their sashimi is great. will recommend this restaurant.

service: 5
ambiance: 5
food: 5
value for money: 5

nice ambience, and i like the decor. only thing is that for a hotel buffet, the options are limited. the breadchoiceswhere good though. also, taste was just ok. the desserts were better than the main entrees for me. staff was always very helpful.

i tried both the lunch and dinner buffet here.  the dining area is spacious and classy. it gets packed on weeknights. you can book a room if you are with a large group. they usually tie up with credit card companies so you might want to check your cc company's offerings. the food served during lunch and dinner were almost the same, good thing i dined 3 months apart. they offer filipino, asian, european and american dishes. you can check marc muñasque's list of the foodchoiceshere. i was overwhelmed by the dessert bar. everything looks good and exciting! i can't review each food i ate because i filled up so fast and everything tasted good. their selection must be 1/4 of vikings but priced twice  so i really wouldn't go back unless there's another half-price promo from my credit card co.

my mom gave me a complimentary gift certificate, lunch/dinner for 2 here in flavors. we used it on a dinner time. there are only few people are eating here that's why its not that crowded and noisy. which is i like though.

though their foodchoiceswere not that many, i can say that their viands taste delishhhh. but when it comes to desserts, i sort of dont like it at all. i was decieved by the presentation and when i tasted it, it taste really dry... i just dont like the taste. not really for me.

but the staffs are really accomodating and alert too.

the flavors is a really small buffet place in my opinion. if you are used to heat, seven corners and spiral, this place might let you down. it is more like buffet jr or buffet lite as thechoicesare not that much.

flavors restaurant is located at holiday inn and suite makati beside glorietta. it offers ala carte meals, buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. i have been to this restaurant several times due to the annual office team plannings that were held here since 2013. i have tried both the breakfast and lunch buffet. the food here are okay however the selections are not as many as those found in other buffet places in other hotels. thechoicesare somehow complete since there are salads, appetizers, fewchoicesof maki, main dishes, rice, fried rice, noodles and desserts.

i was again invited by to dine at flavors restaurant, located at the lobby of holiday inn and suites makati.

flavors restaurant is a buffet concept open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

flavors has a bread and cold cuts station. they also have a salad station, where you can either fix your own salad or try their specialty salads.

they also have a sushi station, a necessity for me in every buffet.

thechoicesfor sushi is quite limited but i enjoyed it anyway.

there were also different main dishes to choose from.

you wouldn't want to miss out on the steaks.

available cuts that evening were us beef chuck roll, beef sirloin and lamb shoulder. i do love steak so i was
a bit disappointed that my steak was served rare, and not medium rare (as i always request for my steak). however, there were a lot of sauces to choose from. beside the steak station is the grill station, which unfortunately i wasn't able to try.

one station that you shouldn't miss when you visit is the desserts station.

i was simply amazed with all the desserts i had in flavors.

i was impressed with the macadamia cake, la sultan, tiramisu, lemon meringue, chocolate oheyna, white
chocolate blondie, red velvet cups (with generous amounts of cream cheese) and many more.

i also loved the chocolate fondue with a variety of sweets to dip it with, like cookies, fruits, and many others.

there's also an diy ice cream machine where you can make your own parfait or sundae. :)

flavors restaurant by holiday inn and suites makati has very limited selection and could do a lot better with
the food choices. the service could also be improved as well. i was quite impressed with the presentation and taste desserts though.

i do hope to come back to flavors with a better experience and an improved buffet spread.

all of the hotels here in metro always have a signature buffet restaurant and flavors is what holiday inn makati has to offer.

the restaurant is named flavors to represent the 5 flavors/stations.

luckily we got to sample this buffet on a friday steak day!

the main dishes were:

u.s. beef chuck roll
beef sirloin - ultimate favorite
lamb shoulder

they have a variety of sauces to choose from, my ultimate go-to sauce would still be the classic pepper sauce. second choice would be the mustard.

other stations are
the salad station -choiceswere a bit limited
the japanese station - i wish they had sashimi but it's a big plus that they keep the rolls in a temperature controlled plate, same goes for the cold cuts
the viand is assorted on 2 tables - there were a lot to dishes going on, my ultimate favorite was the adobo

out ultimate favorite was the dessert station, they had so many to choose from!

i think from all the buffet restaurants that i've been to they have the ultimate selections on sweets!

my favorite would be the bread pudding and tiramisu!

at 1600++ the price is ok, but be sure to watch out for other ongoing promotions. they currently have a promo of 50% off for bpi credit card holders :)

a lot of room for improvement but i think it was a good buffet experience :)

one word come to mind whenever i think of this place: underwhelming. i mean, they serve great food but other hotel buffets are so much better. theirchoicesare a bit limited. their carving station is small and the overall feel is just blah.
