dress the part...... my daughter and i decided to stop here for dinner on our way to the ferry. we were dressed casually, but not shabbily, and decided to give this restaurant a try. we were seated in the middle of the room, visible to all staff. we sat, waiting for our waitress, or any waitress to acknowledge that we were there for at least 15 minutes. we were about to leave when a waitress came over and asked if we would like to order. we placed our order and the waitress disappeared for another 20 minutes. she then returned with our food, and left. over the course of dinner, she checked with many tables. how is your food, do you need anything? not once did she return to our table. i had to flag her down to get the check when we had finished. consequently, i didn't leave her a big tip. she must have thought that was unacceptable, because the charge that came through my bank was for more money than i had signed the slip for. when i checked with the bank, they confirmed the amount was right. so, if you decide to go to this restaurant, be prepared to have the waitress take whatever money from you that she feels she deserves. even if she doesn't do an adequate job.
as far as the dinner went, our food was edible but bland. i am sure my experience was tainted by my treatment, but i am not sure that the food was good enough for me to return.
