first watch

had breakfast there this morning and it was great. friendlystaffand nice atmosphere. had the parma hash, friend had the bacon/avacado/tomoato hash and another friend had an omelet. everything came out together and was hot. will definitely be back.

the room seemed loud, but we still had great conversation.

this is a great place when you want a home-cooked type breakfast with a homey feel to it. 

my favorite meal here is the eggs benedict or the 2 egg breakfast: two eggs (i like mine sunny side up) with crispy bacon (you can have ham, pork or turkey sausage patties). served with grits or ranch potatoes and an english muffin - i replace this with well-grilled tomatoes.

thestaffare truly the best we have encountered in montgomery.  they greet us by name and even run outside to wave and say hello if we're passing by. :)  the manager, emmet, has turned this place around since his arrival and you can tell that thestaffare happy and well-managed.  he is truly interested in pleasing his customers and and puts them first, so if you have any complaints, ask for him rather than leaving unhappy.

we usually go on a sunday morning before the church crowd because it gets busy and noisy, but there's a great 'buzz' and sociable feel to the place.  we consider thestaffhere our extended family.  you will be glad you tried them out!!

don't go on weekends. we made the mistake of trying to have breakfast at this breakfast restaurant during the breakfast hour. thestaffwas overwhelmed. we waited to be seated, waited to be waited on, then waited (and waited and waited) for our food. we watched a table nearby changed their order to to-go after waiting about as long as we did. the food? ok. but the wait ruined the dining experience. they need either more cooks or fewer tables.

delicious. first time at this egg and i and it was as expected. the food was excellent and thestaffwere very friendly. we were seated immediately and our food was brought out very quickly. can't say enough great things about these restaurants.

my girlfriend and i ate at furst watch on a busy sunday around lunch time. they were very busy with the post church crowd but we were seated as quickly as was possible. thestaffwas friendly and inviting. our food got out quickly despite a packed house and was over all very good. i had the tri fecta with a waffle, over easy eggs, and bacon while my gf had the blue berry pancakes. if i have anything to gripe about my eggs were just a little bit over done. the yoke was about 1/3 cooked, not the biggest deal but that's the only fault i could find. we will be back.

it's a chain breakfast place.... and there's nothing wrong with that. i've been several times to get a spinach/mushroom omelet and i've never had an issue with service or food. i'm always alone (breakfast is me time lol!) and i've never been put in a corner and forgotten by thestafflike some restaurants do when you dine alone.

i wanted this to be better. atmosphere is cheery and clean,staffall are very nice and seem to want your business.

20+ minute wait from order to table (it was a busy sat morning), the food was lukewarm and cold by the time i got halfway through it. eggs scrambled well were wet in the middle. biscuits and gravy were very good, with real gravy, not the white paste you usually see. fried potatoes would have been better, but they were cold before i could finish them.

i wish i could give a better review here, but i can't.
