first watch

i love a perfectly cooked poached egg that has a jammy yolk and this is the first restaurant to deliver 2 eggs as ordered. the quality of ingredients were fresh and tasty. i know avocado toast and 2 poached eggs are not exactly a complicated order but fresh avocado (not frozen) paired with my eggs…no one gets medium poached eggs right! my husband hadbreakfasttacos that were tasty. sweet server, hot coffee, reasonable prices, fast service… really good.

hadbreakfastthere this morning and it was great. friendly staff and nice atmosphere. had the parma hash, friend had the bacon/avacado/tomoato hash and another friend had an omelet. everything came out together and was hot. will definitely be back.

its nice to have a good place to eatbreakfastthat has options beyond eggs bacon and grits. this place provides other menu items including frittatas, omelettes, healthy and vegetarian items.

they obviously have thought through how to deliver some interesting options for different palates and desires and they do.

this place has been good every time ive been there. i recommend it.

first watch is one of the more consistent chains available. thebreakfasthere is a good alternative when you could do without the grease of the more widely known chains. the service at this location is very prompt and pleasant.

the egg and i offers deliciousbreakfastentrees and small sandwiches. their local service is outstanding, and the environment makes you feel right at home. i personally love their french toast and/or waffle; they are both outstanding. if you wantbreakfastfood this is the place to go! please note their hours of operation, they are closed for dinner sometimes.

this is a great place when you want a home-cooked typebreakfastwith a homey feel to it. 

my favorite meal here is the eggs benedict or the 2 egg breakfast: two eggs (i like mine sunny side up) with crispy bacon (you can have ham, pork or turkey sausage patties). served with grits or ranch potatoes and an english muffin - i replace this with well-grilled tomatoes.

the staff are truly the best we have encountered in montgomery.  they greet us by name and even run outside to wave and say hello if we're passing by. :)  the manager, emmet, has turned this place around since his arrival and you can tell that the staff are happy and well-managed.  he is truly interested in pleasing his customers and and puts them first, so if you have any complaints, ask for him rather than leaving unhappy.

we usually go on a sunday morning before the church crowd because it gets busy and noisy, but there's a great 'buzz' and sociable feel to the place.  we consider the staff here our extended family.  you will be glad you tried them out!!

don't go on weekends. we made the mistake of trying to havebreakfastat thisbreakfastrestaurant during thebreakfasthour. the staff was overwhelmed. we waited to be seated, waited to be waited on, then waited (and waited and waited) for our food. we watched a table nearby changed their order to to-go after waiting about as long as we did. the food? ok. but the wait ruined the dining experience. they need either more cooks or fewer tables.

delicious egg benedict breakfast. i went on a sat. morning with some ladies and i ordered the eggs benedict with spinach and avocado. it was delicious and the sauce was very good not too lemony and the egg was just right. first watch will stay at the top of my list for a goodbreakfastwith good service!

it's a chainbreakfastplace.... and there's nothing wrong with that. i've been several times to get a spinach/mushroom omelet and i've never had an issue with service or food. i'm always alone (breakfast is me time lol!) and i've never been put in a corner and forgotten by the staff like some restaurants do when you dine alone.

it is great to have abreakfastplace in town. been here twice and will come again! service and food are superb!!

let's give it some time.. as a southern man, i like my potatoes crispy. i requested this, but i didn't get it. i like my toast to be toast, not warmed bread. again, i like a little crispy english muffin at the bottom of my benedict, but i got soggy bread. just one man's opinion. let's see if a little seasoning will improve this new place. brentwood sure does need abreakfastdiner, at least one without a creepy name.

good sandwiches and salads. first watch just opened in the peartree shopping center in brentwood. don't be confused - the peartree store is in the hill shopping center across the street and first watch in the peartree center just down from harris teeter - confusing i know. similar to puffy muffin and le peep, they are just open forbreakfastand lunch.
the no. 5 asian salad was delicious. we especially loved the crispy wontons and the sesame asian dressing served with it. the veggie burger was huge and filled with delicious vegetables. the monterey club and the grilled turkey were good also but we would ask that the dressing be left off the turkey sandwich next time as it was a bit overpowering.
the potatoes served with the sandwiches are yummy! when we havebreakfasthere in the near future, we will order them with one of their healty omelets.
