i had high hopes for this joint, but the service was horrible. it took more than an hour to receive our order and when it finally came out, two of the four entrees were wrong. we never had a dedicated server either. considering the service, thefoodwas merely passable.

the environment was bright, comfortable, and cheery; a great place to start your day.

the room seemed loud, but we still had great conversation.

the egg and i offers delicious breakfast entrees and small sandwiches. their local service is outstanding, and the environment makes you feel right at home. i personally love their french toast and/or waffle; they are both outstanding. if you want breakfastfoodthis is the place to go! please note their hours of operation, they are closed for dinner sometimes.

the service andfoodwere both great! there was a wait, but they take your cell phone number and text you when your table is ready so you can shop at the surrounding stores.

clean, good service, average-below average food. coffee, eh, turkey sausage, bad,foodneeds seasoning and flavor. $23 for 2 people for breakfast, would go somewhere else next time.

love, love, love this place. i can't get enough of first watch. the service is great. thefoodis even better. the only downside is the wait sometimes to get in but it is well worth it!! however, did go to the location on shawnee mission parkway once and won't be back there. the olathe location is hard to beat!

first time. today was my first visit to the restaurant. it was refreshing with flavored crème for coffee--which was fresh and excellent. the waiter was exceptional taking time to explain the somewhat complicated menu and available for water and coffee refills. thefoodwas excellent and had to get a "to-goo" box there was so much--especially the pancakes. look forward to eating there again soon for my second time.

great breakfast!. we love first watch, and have never had a bad meal. the service here was just okay, but thefoodsurely made up for it. we had the banana waffles and a various other items as there was 8 of us.foodcame out quickly, and was hot. i would just encourage you to be patient when waiting for a table, but thefoodis worth it.

just another first watch. it's ok just like all the others.foodis good but nothing special, service is good, price is right. you won't go wrong and quite frankly the area surrounding this restaurant is loaded with corp chains so this is at least a better option than most.

my girlfriend and i ate at furst watch on a busy sunday around lunch time. they were very busy with the post church crowd but we were seated as quickly as was possible. the staff was friendly and inviting. ourfoodgot out quickly despite a packed house and was over all very good. i had the tri fecta with a waffle, over easy eggs, and bacon while my gf had the blue berry pancakes. if i have anything to gripe about my eggs were just a little bit over done. the yoke was about 1/3 cooked, not the biggest deal but that's the only fault i could find. we will be back.

chanakah breakfast. met with al benn and his wife sharon, for a sunday brunch -breakfast. we were seated immediately, where the group pic was taken. we changed to a booth , with no problem. our server was danielle( see pic) she was efficient and very pleasant. we enjoyed her being our server. thefoodcame promptly, was hot, delicious, and we will certainly go back. the church crowd was beginning to arrive and larger groups seemed to have no problem being seated. it was my first trip , by invitation, from those who are 'regulars'. i will be asking for danielle again as our server. good job, goodfood, good service !

rude service. tried eating in the restaurant and they were not handicap friendly. wanted to seat us at the back of a busy restaurant when there where tables available at the front. i asked for wheat toast, was brought rye toast and then the waitress argued with me that it was actually wheat. i asked her to take it back and she wouldn't.foodwas not that good. will not be coming back.

i went there today at around 12pm. it was my first time there. upon walking in i overheard the manager say to a single guest, "you couldn't find anyone else to come with you." i find that rude because when i am a single patron there is always an uncomfortable feeling because i am alone. the waitress was a little ditzy, she forogt to bring silverware, syrup, refills, extra napkins. thefoodthat was an issue was the bacon. it was full of grease. my plate had a tremendous amount of grease on it. then when i went into pay, the manager from earlier checked me out. he said that this card couldn't be mine because it was a disney card. and the card didn't match my shirt. so apparently because i wore a black disturbed shirt, i can't have a disney credit card. he was so rude and offensive. he pissed me off with all the judging and criticizing he had been doing all day.
