first watch

i had high hopes for this joint, but theservicewas horrible. it took more than an hour to receive our order and when it finally came out, two of the four entrees were wrong. we never had a dedicated server either. considering the service, the food was merely passable.

first watch is one of the more consistent chains available. the breakfast here is a good alternative when you could do without the grease of the more widely known chains. theserviceat this location is very prompt and pleasant.

the egg and i offers delicious breakfast entrees and small sandwiches. their localserviceis outstanding, and the environment makes you feel right at home. i personally love their french toast and/or waffle; they are both outstanding. if you want breakfast food this is the place to go! please note their hours of operation, they are closed for dinner sometimes.

service is good and we like the food.. we always receive goodserviceand we like their food. the cajun items are tasty.

theserviceand food were both great! there was a wait, but they take your cell phone number and text you when your table is ready so you can shop at the surrounding stores.

love, love, love this place. i can't get enough of first watch. theserviceis great. the food is even better. the only downside is the wait sometimes to get in but it is well worth it!! however, did go to the location on shawnee mission parkway once and won't be back there. the olathe location is hard to beat!

great breakfast!. we love first watch, and have never had a bad meal. theservicehere was just okay, but the food surely made up for it. we had the banana waffles and a various other items as there was 8 of us. food came out quickly, and was hot. i would just encourage you to be patient when waiting for a table, but the food is worth it.

just another first watch. it's ok just like all the others. food is good but nothing special,serviceis good, price is right. you won't go wrong and quite frankly the area surrounding this restaurant is loaded with corp chains so this is at least a better option than most.

chanakah breakfast. met with al benn and his wife sharon, for a sunday brunch -breakfast. we were seated immediately, where the group pic was taken. we changed to a booth , with no problem. our server was danielle( see pic) she was efficient and very pleasant. we enjoyed her being our server. the food came promptly, was hot, delicious, and we will certainly go back. the church crowd was beginning to arrive and larger groups seemed to have no problem being seated. it was my first trip , by invitation, from those who are 'regulars'. i will be asking for danielle again as our server. good job, good food , goodservice!

theservicewas horrible...my food was not cook properly and i had to send my food back...the waitress later informed that is how we do things here....i was apalled by the tone of her voice, she acted as if this was an inconveniece to her to help me with my needs. i would never eat here again or suggest anyone else to either

it's a chain breakfast place.... and there's nothing wrong with that. i've been several times to get a spinach/mushroom omelet and i've never had an issue withserviceor food. i'm always alone (breakfast is me time lol!) and i've never been put in a corner and forgotten by the staff like some restaurants do when you dine alone.

completely disappointed. i enjoy nothing more then starting the day with a good meal and a good cup of coffee. unfortunately these are two things i was unable to get at first watch. i had to send the coffee back it was so horrible, easily the worst i have had in awhile. the greek omelette was almost as bad. a paper thin egg with a couple black olives sprinkled across the top and a slice of red onion is what passes as a "greek omelette" at first watch. theservicewas not great but i think it was exclusive to the young lady helping us, the other waitress (a slightly older women) seemed on the ball and much more friendly. on a positive note the orange juice was good.
i will admit my standards are probably higher then most as my wife is an excellent cook and i travel a lot which gives me an opportunity to eat at restaurants all over the country.
bottom line, i will not be back and suggest you look else where for an enjoyable meal.

great food,serviceand atomsphere!. my husband and i had lunch today at the egg and i. the reuban is to die for! the corned beef was tender and juicy, swiss cheese melted great, and the best sauerkraut i have ever tasted! the chicken ranch wrap was also fresh and flovorful, the tomato wrap was very good. for our sides, we had salads which were fresh and colorful. our server kaylan was great, and the general manager jasen even stopped by to make sure we were enjoying our lunch. this is a must stop! we can't wait to try breakfast!

it is great to have a breakfast place in town. been here twice and will come again!serviceand food are superb!!

decided to try after hearing all the buzz and will not be back.servicewas awful and food was below-average. i would recommend finding another place for breakfast.
