coffee done right, good food, and a quirky atmosphere. you may have to wait a few minutes at the counter, but it's because they're busy, not lazy. good food and drink is worth a few minute wait.

give the dog a bone. food wasn't bad, but the place is a little too big for a counter service. plus, it's a little pricey for breakfast. this is basically an overblown coffee shop.
also, we had to leave early, brad paisley was in there and he got into a fist-fight with a woman.
or maybe it was just keith urban.

this weekend, something unprecedented happened. it was a double-bruncher for me (pierce)-a rare instance when one individual eats brunch on both saturday and sunday. crazy? yes. impossible? hardly. on saturday, the opportunity to have brunch with my room

hip breakfast joint - great selection. friendly staff, good music, fun dog themed table markers, local foods. not a lot of breakfast places in the vandy area and i think this one is my favorite.

a must for coffee lovers. in it's prime hillsboro village location, this is where all the young people hang out. it has a great atmosphere, free trade coffee, and great menu items.

best coffee shop in town.. great coffee house, but parking lot is a pain. however it is great for doing meetings, and the food is quite tasty and well priced.

great local coffee shop. excellent coffee. great breakfasts. neat historic location and building. interesting crowd; academics; musicians; arists; and squares like me that want to be somewhere cool.

underrated.. fido still remains one of the better spots in town to get breakfast, but the new-ish dinner menu is pretty spectacular. the catfish tacos are delicious.

catfish tacos. if you love fish tacos, some of the best in nashville can be found in a most unlikely place. fido is so much more than just the richest coffee house, the food at dinner and lunch has been consistantly some of the best we have found. the catfish is lightly fried and then wrapped in a soft taco, enhanced by avocado and homemade salsa.
