super friendly staff here! all the pastries and bread look so good here - i especially wanted to try the giant pretzel. i only got the boston cream donut and it was amazing - loved the generous amount vanilla bean cream inside.

a small bakery next to the busiest burger store in queenstown. they have savoury and sweet breads and cakes. i tried their pork pie which was good. my favorite is the ferg’s famous boston cream donut. the cream was rich and the sweetness was just right. the donut itself was chewy and tasty.

really delicious and consistent food. we got breakky from here a couple of times for something quick, easy and on the go. staff are very friendly and efficient. watch out for the little sparrows who try to steal your baked goods outside the store.

we grabs a few different sandwiches before heading off to a hike and they were absolutely delicious. the cream donuts are also a dirty treat. they aren’t too sweet so they are very easy to eat. perhaps too easy.

you can see the food are nice and fresh. we ordered pie and danish to takeaway. the pie was absolutely amazing, whole piece of meat not like other pie fill with mince. just one little thing, the lady that serviced us she looks tied and just don’t want to serve anyone anymore, so i was kind of fast order pay and run... but food is great.

right beside the famous fergburger is the fergbaker, where you'll find tons of baked good including a marriage of almond croissant and chocolate croissant, a chocolate almond croissant (why isn't this available in melbourne? or if there is, it should be made more commonly available).

the pies like the ferg pie/ferg steak (they're the same depending if you read it off the board menu or the marker written name on the display) and pork belly were nicely encased in a buttery flaky pastry, size-wise they are bigger and better looking than your standard pie around town. my steak pie had a slightly dried piece of meat, but that didn't ruin the pie experience.

the boston cream donut was also another tasty treat, soft donut with visible vanilla bean in the cream.

very nice staff and quick service! everything looked so good and so i wanted to try it all, but because it was cold, i decided to go with a mince and cheese pie. it was delicious. the pastry was so puffed and crispy, and the filling had a lot of flavour. this pie definitely fuelled me up for the day. although the prices are a bit high, i would still recommend coming to fergbaker when you're in queenstown

ferg burger wednesday - ferg baker today! these places never seem to stop pumping! pushed our way through the masses and settled on one pork belly pie, and two steak, mushroom and blue cheese pies. they were all super good, and three satisfied punters all round! mrs also had to get a chocolate au pain, which looked really great with wide chocolate stripes for decoration on top, and i thought it a solid 8/10, although she was less impressed for some reason? very satisfied, and would be happy to revisit for another round of something different.

you won’t be able to resist this place especially if you are in a long queue for fergburger. this place smelt amazing and very inviting. great selection of sweets - tried their pecan & praline slice, milk & chocolate donut, ferg’s famous boston cream donut and gingerbread man and they were all spot on with the flavours. they offer a variety of both sweets and savoury and the sweets that we tried were all good. can’t wait to try the other baked goodness.

tried their venison pie the day before leaving queenstown and it tasted excellent. will definitely come back for more when i’m in queenstown next.

ferg baker meat pie was so delicious, it’s crispy outside and meat inside was fantastic. i was lucky that time i didn’t wait for a long queue. staff there were friendly.

rude staff. the girl that served us had no customer service skills. never would have thought i'd get terrible service just asking for some donuts. completely put us off going back.

brought three pies today. really bad service from one of the girls. they ran out of steak pies and i told them to give me a sec to call my mate to pick something else. waitress clearly is an impatient human being, even has the nerve to ask me 'is that all mate?' in a very unpleasant tone.

best pies i’ve had ever!

i loved their pie so much i had 3 of them on my 3 day trip as snacks and breakfast.
plus, this place served fast, there was no wait time making it super convenient!

the ferg pies are to die for! they are flaky with just the right portions of meat and pastry. the sweet treats are also a winner! a must visit when in queenstown!
