farm to fork

amazing. this is hands down the best restaurant in ringgold. the staff is by far the friendliest around. you really can tell the food is made fresh, and it is always delicious. the service is fast, and prices are even better. if you are ever in ringgold you have to stop byfarmto fork for your lunch or dinner. the club sandwich is to die for! it can easily be split between two people. this is the number one place to go for fresh tasting food. go in there and see for yourself.

traveling north on i-75 three weeks ago and stayed at a hampton inn that we stayed a few times previously.  pleasantly surprised to see a restaurant within walking distance namedfarmto fork.  enjoyed a great meal plus the fried green tomatoes were succulent.  great bar.  highly recommend.

i certainly look forward to any homestyle restaur i'm traveling on the road, and i was pretty delighted to see a place calledfarmto fork. this restaurant doesn't help the movement much to say the least, it actually detracts from the cause, of supporting local farmers and providing quality ingredients. on that half it fails miserably, on the actual cooking part i'll give it a barely pass. the food was cold and after asking for crispy hashbrowns, always anticipating most breakfast cooks can't seem to get breakfast potatoes right, they were really the most mushy potatoes i think i've had. it's too bad, the country crock across the street would've been a much better choice, even though i do not like the corporate establishment they certainly have their business together.don't be fooled by the name or expect anything exciting or fresh it's just a low-end diner

this place has definetly gone downhill. the food has really suffered with the new ownership , it was good during the transition but has since been very bad. we had been eating there every friday night but no more.
our last time there was july 3rd we arrived @5:30 not knowing that they had planed to close @ 6:00 for the holiday, it was posted no where to be seen in the restaurant but we could not help but over hear that they had planed to close @ 6:00 when we asked if there was a sign that we missed, we were told that it was on their facebook page (apparently the working class that can't check there facebook page through out the day shouldn't eat here) and we weren't the only ones that didn't check facebook. but the straw that broke the camels back was 4 elderly people that showed up about 5:55 one of the waitresses said very loudly and very unprofessional "lock the door and tell them we are closed" after watching this little old lady take 10 minutes just to get to the door (i couldn't believe it, well i actually could this girl was ready to go and very rude since we walked in the door ) good luckfarmto fork your going to need it

i work atfarmto fork. i will tell you with all honesty that the fried green tomatoes are prepared to order. hand cut, battered and deep fried and, awesome. i would suggest asking for a side of the homemade ranch dressing, it is something you will remember!

mmmmmm good. my family and i go tofarmto fork all the time. love the food. i haven't tried anything there i don't like. the fried green tomatoes are so fresh . love how the don't freeze there meats and vegs . everything is fresh.

fabulous food !!!!!. i am a local but did not know aboutfarmto fork until just last week! my mom and i ate lunch there on saturday. she loves fish and is still talking about how great it was. i had their wonderful chicken salad and it was absolutely delicious too. today was my second visit and i took my grand daughter who is in college. she tried my recommendation for the chicken salad and this time i tried the crab cakes. wow!!!! i now have to admit this is now my favorite local restaurant. tomorrow night i am expanding and bringing my daughter and family for her birthday dinner! the service too is great and everyone is so friendly. they are making a great effort to be a success and i think they are doing everything right!! hats off tofarmto fork!! lookout aunt effie's !!!!!!!

great place to eat. i have had lunch atfarmto fork about three times, each time has been a pleasure. i would encourage you to try this place out and be ready for just a plan at home delicious meal.

not bad. i totally agree with a previous reviewers comments that they've definitely padded their urban spoon reviews. that being said, it still was a pleasurable experience. i had the pork chop with sauteed vegetables and green beans. my wife had the beef tenderloins and sweet potatoe mash. the vegetables were excellent and my wife's beef was perfectly cooked. my pork chop was a little dry, but good. my one complaint was that both dishes needed a sauce to compliment the protein. this would absolutely have elevated the dish into the excellent range. for now all i can do is give our food an overall "very good" rating. as for the atmosphere it is simple and quaint. so overall for the price, which was very reasonable, i would recommendfarmto fork and will come back again.

wow. i learned a long time that there are two things you can eat at any restaurant to tell if the food is any good, one of those is chicken fried steak and the other is a hamburger. and all i have to say is this is probably the best hamburger that i have had in a long time (and that includes my own). you can tell it was handmade and not one of those, pull it out of the freezer, slap it on the flat iron and serve it up kind of places. the menu is kind of small, but i have also learned that the smaller the menu, the better they are at making those things that are on it. those places that have 3, 4, 5, 6 pages of menu, well, all the items can't be that good! while i was in there, a lady came in with a bag of cherries, so i would assume that some sort of cherry desert will be on the menu in the very near future, which i think this kind of goes with the theme,farmto fork. i will definitely be back again and am sure that if the quality holds up to how it was the first time, i'll be spreading the word.

delicious!. we eat here on average once every week or two. we have never been disappointed. the service is always prompt and the food is delicious. what a difference fresh food makes! on our first visit the waitress told us that there is not a freezer or can opener on premises. :-) that was impressive. we were so sick of the chain restaurants feeding us the same stuff right out of a can. won't happen here! yes, the menu is limited....but everything is spot on delicious. i would much rather choose this over a vast menu of mediocre food. the allegation of "padding" reviews is laughable. this restaurant speaks for itself - no need to "pad" reviews when your food is this good. by the looks of the recent expansion and the sunday lunch traffic, news travels fast! several times we have been lured down for lunch by the posting of the daily special on facebook. friends have asked about the restaurant we "check in" to so frequently and we've gladly spread the word. i would put their steak tenderloin medallions against any steakhouse in chattanooga. you get twice the flavor at half the cost atfarmto fork. keep up the great work!

wow!. i love eating atfarmto fork! i try to eat here at least once a week. i travel plenty for work and eating out is much easier than trying to cook for one. i have inquired about where the fresh produce comes from because my fried green tomatoes tasted like none i have ever tasted before. the waitress told me they use several different ones in the area because of the sheer amount of fresh produce they use. when i asked her about the green tomatoes and why they were so different, very tasty however, she explained that they are not put in batter but panko breading! they were amazing with that sauce they give you. i typically do not write a review unless i am horribly displeased but i think we need to support our local businesses and get great food while we do it! i do not know nor am i related to the owner, etc.......some people are just going to be dissatisfied no matter what you do. keep up the great work (and food!)!!

supporting customer!. i have been tofarmto fork a few times. my family and i have had a pleasant experience every time! we've had the tomatoes and the loaded fries appetizers - very good. staff was friendly and attentive. food was excellent, and i am a very picky eater! we live in ringgold and eat out often. it is nice to have a local restaurant where i feel comfortable going to without wondering if the food will be right, how long we will have to wait,etc. i believe in supporting locally, especially after last april, but it seems a couple of our local places are so comfortable they don't care if you have a good experience or not. i would recommend you try at least once and form your own opinion. i'm sure the owner would appreciate feedback. it is a small area, but i heard they will be expanding soon! just the other day we had a "sloppy joe" sandwich for lunch at work that i will be looking for again!

don't recommendfarm2 fork. the menu is limited & is notfarmfresh; the fried green tomatoes were fresh frozen - probably from costco - the tomatoes were orange/green.
in fact, the green beans were somewhat hard- they were probably
old- as they don't have a long shelf life. the waitress was friendly & really enjoyable to talk to- though.
i'd like to see this restaurant make it; they need to really visit local produce stands & purchase quality
food - the owners have a good concept - unfortunately - food quality trumps good concepts -

awesome food and service. i have eaten atfarmto fork several times and have had nothing but great experiences each time! i have tried the fried green tomatoes, hand cut fries, steak medallions and fried shrimp and always left full and happy. i would and do recommend this place to everyone! if you havent tried it you are missing out! we need to support local businesses like this one! drive past the cracker barrel and try them out!
