for very quick service and delicious steaks, this is your place, their specials are amazing and their service is really good. i made reservations ans requested for a quiet area,unfortunately as the restaurant is so big, it was quiet noisy, but overall it was really a goodplaceto dine and meet with friends.

this is a very popular spot as it's always full. the service was very very good and the ambiance within the restaurant was just right.

the grilled calamari stuffed with danish feta are amazing and complimented with some really tasty rice.

overall a niceplacewhich i wouldn't king re-visiting.

this a family type restaurant situated in the edenvale area. the food is reasonable and service adequate. its the type ofplaceyou go to for dinner during the week when you don't want to cook and want a good meal. there is plenty secure parking with a guarded parking lot across the street.

what started out as a crazy trip, travelling half way a cross johannesburg...a monday madness 400g steak and a side for r89 from fahrenheit actually ended up being an epic adventure!

i never heard of fahrenheit! i guess i was thinking of the usual steak houses. back in the day it was only one option...spur, spur or spur... alas today we are spoilt for options.

edenvale is so lucky to have such an institution that really is fine dining at it's best. some may call it casual...but it's mighty fine.

the setting is what looks like is an old enormous house that's been converted into a very smart and stylish restaurant...oh and romantic.

sadly i have not yet experienced the chicken or seafood but the steaks are so amazing...i can just imagine what the rest of the menu is like.

the staff are so friendly and waiters assigned to sections, so you get a personalised experience...
i remember thinking that thisplacehas to be pretty great if they are so packed on a monday.

iplacemy order and wait...check the menu out and wow it goes on and on and everything looks just too good to be true. the options are ludicrous...

my meal arrives.... 400g is pretty big and i just love my baked potatoes.
after preparing my baked potato by distributing salt, butter and cream all over it evenly and waiting for the combination to soak in...i turn to that mouthwatering steak.
the first bite! and wow...it just melts in your mouth and the flavor is amazing...
i can't seem to put my knife and fork down to have some more wine.
yes i'm thinking it and my arms are not responding to my mind...."i want a glass of wine!"
but my mind is telling me no! my hands refuse to let go of the knife and fork.

half time haha, i really need a glass of wine but then there is the baked potato.... drooping with butter and cream. i can't resist!!!
now my mind is really confused...."cntrl alt and delete!" options...

i could not believe the quality of that steak, more so could not believe that not only did i finish the steak and baked potato, i failed to finish my wine.:-)

how has this establishment been a secret since opening its doors in 2007 is amazing.
i can't wait to try their other branches out and start exploring the menu...

magic monday madness at fahrenheit...

wow wow wow !!! been here over hour and a half and still waiting for my main meal ! worst service and i am not used to thisplaceoperating like this ! what a sad let down to family who are visiting from out of the country . our raves are flat ! food is brilliant usually but service is the key !!!

was looking for a good seafoodplaceto take my bf for his birthday, based on the reviews and menu (prices are outdated, just a heads up) we decided to try fahrenheit. the starters were disappointing (small portions and the squid heads were a little burnt), but the mains were really good. my boyfriend had the thunder steak (they under cooked it but it was really soft and delicious so that's ok), i had the prawns which were a good size and quite tasty. we had the chocolate brownie and malva pudding for dessert, i'm not a brownie fan and i found it a little dry but my boyfriend enjoyed it, the malva pudding was really tasty. our waiter was really friendly but seemed a bit flustered and even though i had made a booking, the lady from the front desk just plonked us down at the first table she found, which was for 4 people and we were only 2. so i wouldn't recommend going here for a date but as a family restaurant or if you want to take out a few friends it's really nice and has a cool vibe.

oh my goodness!! most definitely one of the best places i have ever eaten! we booked thisplacefor my dads 50th and the service was excellent, the staff was lovely and assisted us with all that we did. we even got there early, just as they opened, to set up and were greeted with smiles. the food is to die for! the prawn in creamy garlic sauce (their specialty starter) was amazing! we had a set menu which consisted of 3 choices of starters, mains and deserts. everything ordered was cooked to perfection and every course was just as delicious as the last. i think i had to be rolled out of there by the time i was done!

what a greatplaceto go for a reasonable and enjoyable meal. also a niceplaceto celebrate a special occasion. great service and very friendly waiters adds to your enjoyment.
the steaks are great and cooked perfectly so can recommend those and a must try is their calamari fiesta, which are calamari tubes stuffed with danish feta, you will be going back for more and more.
everyone enjoyed their meal from the shrimp cocktail salad, to the chicken schnitzel and spring chicken dishes as well as the spare ribs.
they really know how to make a special occasion special with their on-the-house delicious cheesecake dessert.

went here for my birthday and a felt like it has an awesome atmosphere and lovely food. a beautifulplacefor the kida to place,and thats what i look for in a restaurant. thank you for going out of your way to make yiu customers happy

we had tried thisplacea few months ago and thought we should try it again.
we arrived and were well-greeted by the hostess. we were promptly seated and were assisted by a friendly and efficient waiter.
i had the fillet & prawn combo. the fillet was prepared as ordered and the prawns were fresh and tasty. i thoroughly enjoyed my meal.
this restaurant has a large variety of different dishes available and although the menu items seemed a bit pricey, they had some really good value for money specials available. i will be back 👍🏼

a friend came to visit from durban, so we decided to go for dinner here. very big inside which doesn't make it cramped. service was average. the menu had a good variety to choose from. nice wine list. dessert menu was bigger than i expected. food was average. nothing amazing. perfectplaceif you have kids as they have a huge play area as well as ladies that keep an eye on the kids. think it is overrated. not on my 'favourites' list.

fahrenheit has become synonymous with getting food you expect. good chow,ball park prices and generous portions. i'd recommend it for those days when your patents wants to go to that overcrowdedplacecalled "anywhere"
