had a really pleasant dinner here with my parents for my last day of being a teenager (before my inevitable quarterlife crisis kicks in!!) located conveniently near my place, this french restaurant is set in a gorgeous old house, dimly yet beautifully lit, the wait staff were very professional. my rare steak frites was a real treat with a delicious 'secret' sauce, i was tasting pepper, tarragon and egg, don't know what else though! the frites were perhaps a tiny bit too salty but good nonetheless and the fresh salad was yummy with radish and walnuts added to lettuce. was the first time i've eaten steak and i loved how it was cooked just on rare the way i requested it. i had a le paon cocktail with gin, creme de violette, cointreau and citron and it was divine :d we all shared a creme brûlée for dessert which was truly silky and gorgeous but too full to finish it! overall a very indulgent (and way pricey) experience! not my favourite cuisine as it is very rich, and the atmosphere is really centered around high dining etiquette, but i loved the overall experience. would come back for afternoon or brunch cocktails!
