i visited elements cafe for a tea and snacks date with a bunch of others. the cafe is really beautifully set and opens up onto the pool area of the hotel with the mostperfectview of the ocean and famous lighthouse. gorgeous table settings and ambience.
i enjoyed the savoury canapés and was well catered for with vegetarian snacks. the lemon cake squares, brownies and salmon bites were particularly good, so was the margarita pizza.
the basil pesto and chicken stacks plus savoury roast beef croissants were also a hit with my friends. the white chocolate and lime eclairs along with the macarons were very disappointing, so the food is quite hit and miss.
this is a great spot for a girly lunch or maybe even that romantic first date purely because of ambience and views. staff were very friendly and accommodating.
perhaps i will go back to try something more substantial since i have heard good things about the rice dishes.
