a local gem. my husband & i were in town for the wkend and had the privilege of dining here on a saturday night. the lamb kabobs were incredible as was the mediterranean salad. great music, service and atmosphere . so glad we got the recommendation from a local. too bad we live in lakewood, oh or we would bebackon a regular basis. wishing continued success.

the ambience was great, small bar tables & chairs made for tight seating & dining, the menu had many unique choices, the prices moderate, the portions small, the staff horrible!! this place is incredibly popular thus busy. took forever to be seated, took forever to bring us water & menus, took forever to comebackand take order, took forever to get food, and server never came back. we had to request our bill as we were leaving and felt no obligation to tip the poor service. with the menu being so vast (tons of tapas!!!), it would have been especially helpful to have a more attentive staff to help customers make recommendations and boost revenue! retraining the staff in customer service, menu knowledge, and time management could go a long way here.

we enjoyed delicious drinks and food. we had taps on the lovelybackpatio on a warm afternoon. strongly recommended and perfect for date night!

what's with the service?. the food was good. never got the sauce that was supposed to come with. food took a loooong time! server just said sorry. not sure if i'll bebackor not.

great food, terrible service. we were at local first az mixer where i met barry and his partner. since the mixer didn't have much food, so we decided to goto try el gato azul. i have to say that the food was amazing, the flavors were unique and the ingredients were off the wall fun and refreshing. however, our server kathryn was terrible. she greeted us about 10 minutes after we sat, took forever to comebackfor the drink order. she never check on us with the apps. multiple times she would just disregard our table and go do something else. kathryn asked if we were done and we asked for a box to go. when she brought the foodbackfrom packaging, we were going to ask for a desert menu. instead she dropped the food and the check off assuming we were done. then it took another 15 minutes to realize she may never getbackto the table.so we got up and handed her the check to be paid. i wentbackto the table to sign the check. i was so appalled with her that i left her nothing and wrote "get a new job!" please fix the waitstaff!!!

friendly young lady waited on us. fried avocado yummy, ask for more aioli sauce. crab cakes good, but nothit, they were room temperature. garlic mushrooms really ggod, tender, garlicky. really liked the olive tapenade, chicken satay. portions were bigroom for beingthe tapas. i will definitely comebackand bring a guest.

nice place. second time we've been here. this place is small but has a nice feel to it. they have a small outdoor patio and we stopped by on a night with music. it's laidbackand chill. the food was okay, the service was okay, we'll probably stop by again. if you haven't been in before it's worth it to stop in.
