prices are good. portions are small so be sure to order a double serving.

delicious, comforting. as someone who works nearby, i go weekly. cheap yet as delicious as a sit-down restaurant, and no other restaurant i know has "brown rice" (actually at least partially black rice) as an option- delicious and less of a guilty eat. faster than fast food, yet wonderfully healthy. their curries aren't the hottest, yet they do have chili dishes on some days that are damn hot, and there is always pad pra ram, almost-raw veggies with thick peanut sauce. very nice service, and a frequency card for free curry. their tea and coffee is on the sickeningly sweet side- their only downfall.

delivery or dine-in: delicious. definitely no delivery better if you don't want pizza. even beats the best pizza around town, and it's soooo cheap! never had a dish here that i disliked to any degree.

food court. i wanted to like this place but i just can't. it's quaint and all but the food is comparable to mall food court grub. not good!

they have different foods made every day, which makes for fast fresh thai. generally speaking i think thai food is overrated. padthai usually has too much fish sauce in it and smells like a fart. but what i do like of thai food is their curry. the peanut sauce is like eating liquid peanut butter, so i don't like that either, oh and glass noodles freak me out. but lets get back to curry. from the pictures i took i have to assume we got the pinneapple chicken curry, and the pad prik king, both of which were delicious. we got the brown rice and it comes with an egg roll for like 8 bucks. again, this place is really good and the fact that its not sit down and you don't have to pay a tip i always appreciate. so if you are ever by pioneer park downtown stop by. for dessert we got one of my absolute favorite things ever. sticky mango rice! when the mango is ripe and good

soothes the california soul!. i recently moved here from the bay area and have been craving great thai. i've tried many other places recommended by friends, family, and online, only to be consistently disappointed. then, someone recommended ekamai. i have to admit, we were a little surprised at the size and ambiance of the restaurant. we actually wondered whether we came to the right place, or whether this was the take-out area of a full-service ekamai restaurant. however, after we tasted the food, i wouldn't change a thing! the intimacy of the restaurant, the charm and friendliness of woot, and the authentic thai flavors make you feel like you have just been welcomed into a cherished place only few are cool enough to find. little did i know that this place does amazing business, frequented by those that know and appreciate great food. we'll be back for our regular thai fix!

this place is on par with the house of nanking (aka the shanghai shoebox) in san francisco. absolutely incredibly delectable comestibles emanating from a geographic postage stamp. fast, friendly and made with love. go there right now.

drunken noodles are the dank sauce. the yellow curry is bomb! went last night and got the pad seu. oh man! i can't stop going...

i visited this place with my girl friend today and i was soooo impressed with the pad seiw and kaw pad! i was curious as to why some reviews gave it a bad rep but all i can say is that it was probably made by god himself

don't get delivery!. i ordered delivery from ekamai tonight and had the beef pad seiw. there were five small pieces of meat mixed with a ton of bland noodles. i had to order 3 egg rolls to get over the 12 dollar minimum, and they weren't egg rolls, they were spring rolls. worst 16 dollars spent on delivery i've ever had.

amazing!. i went into ekamai with a friend in june of 2010, and since then i've been going back consistently. i absolutely love all the curries, the service is friendly and fast, and being able to sit outside to people watch while i enjoy my food is wonderful. i definitely recommend this place to all my friends.

this place has such great fresh flavors, every sip or chopstick full is a melody of great taste. everyday has a slighty different menu and they have free delivery! great friendly people as well.

i had a beef curry and a pineapple curry, as well as a spring roll. first, the curries. both were satisfactory

great flavors!. everything i've tried here has been excellent. plus they serve the most addictive thai iced tea in town. bummer is it's almost 3 bucks for a small glass. service is fast and extremely friendly. prices are fair. it's a great little place!
