i sure hope the new location works out for ee burritos. it's a little out of the way in a strip mall off central but they are such nice people, i hope they are successful. i had the chicken burrito combo. it wasgoodbut i probably won't have it again only because i like hot things to be hot and cold things to be cold so when you put both together in the same burrito, the temperature isn't to my liking. the refried beans taste great but aren't very visually appealing.

don't go close to closing time.. went there and placed my order. i ordered two papusas and two pork tacos. the papusa weregoodbut the pork tacos were all grissle and fat. it was dry and gross. i told the owner that i did not want them because it was gross. he took it away but told me i have to pay for it still because i ordered it. i said it was disgusting it didn't even take a bite. it was all grissle and fat. he said what am i supposed to do with it. i told him i don't care what you do with it. he said i still have to pay for it because i ordered it. i payed for it and said i would never come back. he laughed. maybe it was because it was 40 minutes before closing time. either way. he was ignorant.

average experience. i came to ee burritos with high expectations for some quality burritos at a reasonable price. i ordered the chicken burrito and although it was agoodportion size and tasted alright, it was cold and the tortilla a bit dry. needless to say i was slightly disappointed and expected much better!

welcome to mexico. i read some review online and was a little worried. out of ten reviews i read 4 were negative saying the place was terrible, but then i remember what i learned in school about comment and complaint. people are ten time more likely to comment on a bad experience then agoodone, so that means 7x10 there were 70goodcomments and 4 bad ones. not so bad.
me and my wife went there as a date and we loved the food the service the owner and the decor. keep up thegoodwork ee's.

first timer. i went on a recommendation for the first time on friday night, the young girl who served us was so nice and definitely had trouble with english so she messed up the no onions but definitely made up on it for charm and attentiveness. she left after her shift and we were there until late and then the service less attentive but okay.the mixed pupusa was delicious, so was the lemon tortilla soup, but the taco ehh average.the pina colada was the best ever!. dont order a caesar as it was weird color and awful, couldnt drink it. love the music and lessons and the after lesson music but they just need to turn down the volume a bit as it is way too loud in that small atmosphere but i think that is a latin thing the louder the better as in mexico, music same way screaming loud! only thing they have to really watch out for is keeping the riffraff out from that area, and they try to do that, my sister was yelled at by some nutjob who came in and was screaming at her about bringing disease in the place we were frightened as he was literally standing over her and yelling as we sat at the table and the waitress went to get the owner i assume, who escorted him out but we were a bit leary of leaving late around 11:00pm as this weirdo was standing outside the door.i think they need to have a bouncer to keep the local "20th street area" characters out of the place as a couple almost started a fight and it was a pity as we were really enjoying watching the dancing and the rest of the partrons were just people out having agoodtime dancing and socializing.
would i go there again , for sure but they need to keep a tight rein on the place and not let it slide into slum hangout.
also i would agree the 4.99 avocado is real bad business and the one little tiny sour cream container with taco bad cheapskate too, as hey sourcreme is cheap! so owners take heed this place could be a great shining star in saskatoon if you straighten a few things up. there are alot of reallygoodrestaurants in saskatoon and very competitve place and the best way to kill your business is the above mentioned things.

can begoodand/or bad. after eating here numerous times over the past year i have decided to write a review. when this places servesgoodfood it is truly excellent, but sometime the meat is dry and chewy or another time my drink came in a dirty glass that was clearly dirty. when the food is made right, the meat is tender and moist, the rice is fluffy and the food is nice and hot. other times, not so great. the worst thing to happen was taking the guacamole out as a choice of side and charging 4.99 for it, this is not justified, avocados are cheap and so is guacamole. too bad the guacamole wasgoodand now i just won't order it. staffing is also hit and miss, sometimes the staff seem to not care to check on your drinks or leave you waiting forever to take your order other times it's server excellence. this could be a great restaurant, bring back the guac and try to be more consistent with service and food quality. i will still eat here, but if food and service continue to decline i will stop.

edit july,

we went back and while the food wasgoodthis time, the jalapeño steak burrito was amazing, the drink came in a dirty glass again. we will not return again for a year, i will always give a second chance, but only after giving a restaurant time to turn things around.

good food, not sogoodservice. the staff is never the same, they usually don't understand orders and they rarely bring water.

but, the food is amazing, always delicious and very authentic.

so disappointed! i used to love going there, the food was great and so tasty but the service was mediocre. i hadn't been there since the management changed but i was peckish and bought the pulled pork burrito-my standard. it was actually pathetic. the rice tasted like minute rice with chilli spice, the refried beans weregoodbut the portion was smaller and the burrito was an insult. it was cold, moderately sprinkled with iceberg lettuce and what tasted like a dried out pork kebab with a spoonful of sour cream lurking in a conspicuous lump at the bottom of the wrap. the meal was a slap in the face of what ee burritos used to be.

will return.. we came here today for a late lunch, and we were the only customers in the building. i had been hesitant to come to this restaurant because of the location, but my boyfriend said years ago the food was reallygoodand convinced me to come. the server was very friendly, but english was her second language so that was a little difficult especially when we ordered our food. took a little while for our food to come, but it was worth the wait as everything looked and tasted quite good. i had a combo with 1 tamale, 1 papusa, guacamole, and salad. my boyfriend had the same thing but with rice and beans instead.
my boyfriend wasn't quite as impressed with the papusa he had, as he thought it was overcooked, but mine was great. the tamale's were delicious, the salad and guacamole fresh, and the rice and beans were tasty.
nice to have another option in addition to la bamba when we want mexican in saskatoon (even if ee burritos is technically el salvadorian). i liked the little shop area too where you can purchase products to take home as well.

much improved!. you can definitely tell this restaurant has changed hands. the food has always been amazing, but generally the service is terrible, and for that reason i usually avoid eating here b/c i leave upset with the long wait times, screwed up orders, and just poor service. i recently decided to give it one more try, and the food as always was fabulous, but the service matched. we were sat promptly, our order taken quickly, and the food came out hot and ingoodtime. i was very impressed with the changes to the service. i would recommend those of you who have been disappointed in the past to give this place another shot!

service. again, like the previous posters mentioned the service is not the greatest,- one girl took our drink order an it was pretty quick, but it took about 15 minutes for someone to bring me a menu, and another 15 to come get my order and another 20 to bring my food.

now the food was great, i had the pupusa and tamale combo and it was pretty good, rice was exceptional and the main courses weregoodas well, refried beans tasted and looked canned though.

i'd go back, but only when i had lots of time, and i'd order something without the beans.
