ee burritos restaurant

there are two sections to the space, a restaurant and a little grocery store. the restaurant has a bar, stereo equipment, televisions and a lot of space for seating and dancing. every friday they have latin dancing from 9:30-10:30 that you can take part in, followed by a dj to 2:30 am. this space also allows them to have live entertainment and music. the decor is quite plain with latin art and photography that can also be purchased. menu ee burritos offers an assortment of latin food from quesadillas, tacos, enchiladas, burritos, fajitas, pupusas and more. food we went with the shrimp burrito. the shrimp burrito comes in a flour tortilla with lettuce, cheese, sour cream and salsa. it was delicious offering a fresh taste and a lot of colour. this came with two sides of your choice. i went with the seasoned rice and vegetables and nacho chips with fresh tomatoes and sour cream. on top of that service was great,

bad service murdered it.. my party and i were waiting to be sat. the restaurant wasn't even half full. the person behind the til looked at us but didn't come over or say "someone will be right with you". then another party wandered in a few minutes later and he rushed out to seat them! my party wanted to stay so we did, but it only got worse from there. we told the waitress we wanted to order our food with our drinks and she said ok, then after we said our drinks she took off. the coffee was sludge and was undrinkable. our waitress ignored our table for 20 min. finally someone else came over and we told her about the problems with the coffee. she didn't refill the water and said the coffee was almost done but it didn't make its way to the table for another 15 min. our waitress stopped coming to our table, and the new person told us our food would be right out (we'd already been waiting 40 min). finally after waiting almost an hour (55 min) we see one of the waitresses parading our meals to each table and asking if it was theirs. of course the food was cold and the beans had a crusty cover. i mean come on. i absolutely love the rice and refried beans there (when it's not served cold and gross) but there's nothing special about the rest of the food, and i will absolutely not go back there.

short version: fire your servers; they're going to kill your business.

not bad. this is another you gotta eat here restaurant of my list. working in saskatoon so had to try it out ordered the beef burrito & two pork flautas. the flautas where massive was very suprised exspected the usual pinkie sized flautas. they where tasty & the dipping sauce was real good not sure what is in it. the burrito was excellent & the perfect size left felling good & not discusted with myself. might have to stop in tomorrow to try something else.

some items are a hit or miss.. but give it another shot. try something else. my spouse loves the jalapeño steak burrito.

love the posole and mixed pupusas. read awhile ago they will be on the show must eat here on food network.

amazing food, awesome service, casual atmosphere. even my picky 13 y.o. liked it. what more could you ask for??

excellent food + terrible service = mediocre experience. if they could ever get their food out at the same time and drinks refilled they would have the whole package.

the food was ok. too much cilantro in some of the dishes, beans an off color. taste was decent, burritos could have more meet. meh kinda place if you know what i mean.

so yummy. unorganized front staff but who cares, the food is good! i love ee's

good food!. food was delicious! very large portion. try the burrito platter and the tacos. service was very friendly.

had lunch here today and totally enjoyed it, i had a beef empanada which was perfectly baked in a golden corn bread covering all made from scratch.
for my main dish i had the jalapeño steak burrito with a delicious serving of seasoned rice and black beans. my girlfriend ordered the beef enchilada and she really enjoyed it.
very fresh, tasty and authentic food.

i've enjoyed the beef burrito and the el presidente burrito. they were quite good. i plan on trying other things in the future. the chicken quesadilla my friend got looked tasty as well.

i went here for lunch today, and got a take-out pork burrito.  i had heard great things about the food, so i was looking forward to going there. (i had not been before) the staff were very friendly, and the restaurant was very clean.  my food came out quickly.  my pork burrito, however, was disappointing to the point of being inedible. 
it was drenched with grease. the oil completely over-powered any tasty goodness the burrito could have had.  the oil saturated the burrito shell and ran freely (not one or two drips) from the bottom of the burrito. i ate about a third of it, then had to throw the rest in the trash.

perhaps i will try this establishment again, but it won't be anytime soon.

the tortilla soup was amazing! and the horchatta was really good too. i enjoy the food every time we go. we travel from regina just to have dinner.

food was okay, but nothing special. had the shrimp quesadilla with refried beans and rice. quesadilla was mainly onions and peppers, very few shrimp and very little cheese. not what i wanted from a quesadilla. favourite thing were the beans. partner had the beef chimichanga, which he claims to have enjoyed. mango smoothie was good. main thing that bothered me was the griminess of the dining area, once i noticed the smears and hairs and whatnot it was hard for me to focus on the food.

this place exceeded expectations. the tamales were the best i've ever had, the pupusas, were absolutely amazing and the soup was very good. the place looked clean. some things that need attention: please dispense with the little plastic containers for side sauces. side sauces can be presented in a nicer dish. the plates for the salad and the medium nachos were too small. please present those dishes in bigger and nicer place. aside from these details this is a wonderful, casual latin american restaurant.
