ee burritos restaurant

i sure hope the new location works out for ee burritos. it's a little out of the way in a strip mall off central but they are such nice people, i hope they are successful. i had the chicken burrito combo. it was good but i probably won't have it again only because i like hot things to be hot and cold things to be cold so when you put both together in the same burrito, the temperature isn't to my liking. the refried beans taste great but aren't very visually appealing.

one of my absolute favorite places to go. i've tried almost the entire menu and loved it all! i literally yelled for jou when i heard they moved to sutherland, so nice and close now!

food is amazing (chicken tacos) and the atmosphere is really clean and cute. service was quick when i was there, overall really impressed with this one in comparison to the old location.

we were fairly disappointed! confused as to how 2 vegetarian burritos with no sour cream or cheese plus chips and guac could equal 30$? seriously? an add on container of about 2 ounces of mediocre guacamole was 4.99$. wow.

came here a few years ago before it was on "you gotta eat here!" and loved it so much that i vowed to come back next time i was in saskatoon.

this time was as delicious as i remembered it to be. my chimichanga was crisp and piping hot. refried beans and rice were tasty as well! portion size is outstanding and i consider myself a big eater.

i overheard someone say that this business is moving to central ave (not sure if i heard correctly) but if they do, i don't care! i'll still come all the way from calgary for this food.

people who are complaining about the service: you need to put some perspective on this... it's clearly a family run restaurant. so sometimes things might be a bit on the slow side. if you're in a hurry, get tacotime. if you want a great meal, set aside some time with your friends and come here.

the food is poorly presented. based on recommendations from my co workers we choose to go there for lunch. we found a used band aid in the rice. the fun part is when the waitress was trying to convince us that we put it in there. thumbs down.

i'm somewhere in the middle. the food was okay but was definitely nothing special. the restaurant was empty when we went since we went around three in the afternoon and the service was not very good. seeing that myself and another table were the only ones there, you'd expect to be well taken care of but that wasn't the case. anyways nothing too special. mediocre ..

disclaimer: the food deserves a 3.5. the only reason i am giving such a low review is because the service is terrible. i came here for lunch today with my boyfriend. it was busy, as normal so i expected there to be a wait. i'm honestly really fair when it comes to things like this, i understand how hard serving and kitchen staff work during a rush! we didn't order anything extravagant, just a a quesadilla, 2 flautas, 2 small tacos, and 2 pupusas. it seems like a lot written out, but it's really not. aside from the quesadilla they are all small items. i was not even beginning to be bothered until about 30 minutes after we ordered. i started noticing that people who had came into the restaurant and ordered after us were receiving their food. that irked me. after finally waiting 50 minutes for our food to come, it arrived with no explanation for the long wait. the dishes with tortillas were quite soggy, which leads me to believe that they had been prepared for some time. i wonder what could have possibly happened. the food was pretty good, but i'm not sure if it was worth a 50 minute wait.

i had lunch there with a date, and i found the food very delicious. my piñacoloda was awesome, tamales and enchilada were great too!

don't go close to closing time.. went there and placed my order. i ordered two papusas and two pork tacos. the papusa were good but the pork tacos were all grissle and fat. it was dry and gross. i told the owner that i did not want them because it was gross. he took it away but told me i have to pay for it still because i ordered it. i said it was disgusting it didn't even take a bite. it was all grissle and fat. he said what am i supposed to do with it. i told him i don't care what you do with it. he said i still have to pay for it because i ordered it. i payed for it and said i would never come back. he laughed. maybe it was because it was 40 minutes before closing time. either way. he was ignorant.

went here for the first time today with the family and enjoyed it very much! service was great and the food was excellent! authentic!

ordered through skip the dishes tonight. 3 out of 4 items were spot on, but the veggie quesadilla showed up as beef instead.

called in to ask for a veggie quesadilla to be sent out, and the gentleman on the other end handled it like a pro. genuinely apologetic.

we really appreciate it guys. things like this shouldn't happen, but sometimes they do and the blow is softened when handled well.

i'm considering reworking my budget to include a chimichanga every night. i might not survive my thirties, but i would have no regrets.

superb food. touch pricey, but i'm cool with a few extra bucks. they've certainly earned it.

cold delivery. just ordered delivery from this place and the empanadas came very cold. so we called and were told to microwave them. thought the whole concept of ordering from a restaurant was that the food came ready to eat, guess i'm confused on that fact?

awesome!!. food is always fantastic! great service. never disappointed.

12/30/2014 6pm. was excited to try. wasn't open. no sign as to why. sad to drive so far.
