excellent. my family and i went here for dinner on mothers day eve. it was excellent. our server was a little new, but he did well. thesushiwas fresh and tasty, as was the miso soup and yakisoba shrimp. the crawfish volcano roll was delicious. on the way out, we got some of the homemade macaroons. i ate about 6 of them. they are addictive! it's a little pricey, but worth it.

quite possibly the bestsushianywhere in dallas! friendly staff, great drinks and unusual specialties. we started with the grilled oysters they are giants and smoky delicious. the blue fin and baby yellowtail are melt-in-your-mouth tender and tasty

not what expected. the only two good things i have to say is the tea and california rolls were good. it is way too expensive for what is served. the salad that comes with the meal is disgusting. if i was to go back it would be for thesushionly.

my husband and i had an enjoyable dining experience and the food was all delicious. we tried the tempura shrimp which includes vegetables, and the avacado egg rolls. then we had the 3 for $14sushilunch special which included a bowl of miso soup. we had tempura shrimp roll, louisiana roll and a spicy salmon roll. we also had a spicy cajun roll and sundae roll. i recommend everything we tried.

love the food but just tried to sit and eat dinner at thesushibar and order an abundance of food but when we tried to order some happy hour beverages they told us you had to sit at the bar to qualify for "happy hour" prices... since the bar was full we asked our waiter when she seated us at thesushibar if they would honor the happy hour prices because there weren't 2 seats together at the bar - 2 empty on opposite ends of the bar. she said yes. next thing we knew the bartender came over telling us that they wouldn't honor happy hour prices at thesushibar and if we still wanted the drinks we would have to move in his area due to their computer systems. we told him that we had already orderedsushiand was waiting on that. their computer service should not dictate where in the restaurant you can sit and order certain items they offer. a little extra out of the staff could have made this experience more pleasant!

you can't believe the professionalism missing from management bad night all around. okay so went here after reading great reviews. after all it was my birthday! just got started and waiter dumped my soup directly in my lap, while soaking my just deliveredsushitray! after a weak attempt at cleanup no one (manager) even came to apologize or offer explanation. we toughed it out and stayed for the meal hibachi style. the waiter at end of meal explained he wanted to discount or comp us in some way for the disaster of a night. the manager told him if he wanted to comp or discount that it would come out of his pocket, not the managers!!!!!! needless to say the entire experience was distasteful in many ways. never had i seen a manager basically ignore the issue (even after i mentioned it directly to him) but to put a young waiter on the chopping block to avoid satisfying the customer, well........ never again will i do business there and i encourage anyone in rockwall to look elsewhere. sometimes nice decor and somewhat decent food don't replace customer service!! oh and did i mention we ordered two deserts which they explained they were out of ....tiramisu, and strawberry cheesecake.
