good but disappointed. on our 2nd visit my wife and i had lunch ($45.00 before tip) with the oyster lunch special and shrimp linguini and one glass of house wine. the linguini pasta was too salted and the fries on the lunch were very few and cold. we had to ask our waiter twice for lemons and crackers for our lunch. on our 1st lunch we had the house special char broiled oysters, special seafood gumbo, and red beans and rice, the charbroiled oysters were dry, over cooked with little sauce, and the seafood gumbo and red beans and rice not special. constructive suggestion to owners and manager: visit other good restaurants in area and compare. thejacksonconsumer market can not be compared to the new orleans "big easy" market.
