excellent. great food and service! 5 stars with 9 ppl in the group and everyone was beyond happy with everything !!! mixed grill w/adding crabmeat to the lobster tail was off the hook good and i don't like oysters but theres are bangibg too

great service!!!!. great service. sat at the bar with the two jeff's. very good service from the bartenders both named jeff. pasta jambala with added shrimp was killer. beer and wine great. was watching the guy cooking the char grilled oysters, what a great cook. i'm from new orleans, and it was a great experience!

just great! that's all i have to say!. my lunch was seafood perfection. my server dj was knowledgeable and very professional. i had the tuna aioli salad with avocado which was some of the best sushi grade tuna i have had outside of a sushi restaurant, ever. the seafood gumbo was exceptional, better than any around jackson. the place was buzzing with guests and a great atmosphere. a winner for me!

we’ve been to dragos several times. it is very good. raw oysters, lobster mac and cheese, tuna.. cold beer.. abita strawberry on tap during season. chargrilled oysters may be the best anywhere. comfortable, friendly, and a very pretty bar.

have visited drago’s in nola. was afraid that this one wouldn’t live up to that standard. was i ever wrong. don’t really like oysters, except for the charcoaled. yum. prime quality seafood. lacks a little of the ambience of nola location, but very very nice.

wonderful place. the best seafood place around jackson. food is amazing, great service. good selection of beer and wine. the charbroiled oysters, the best!!

this place is close to the real deal in metairie just doesn't have the complete flavor profile that i expect. don't get me wrong, it's just not the same as the original. decent service and simple decor.

although the char-broiled oysters were amazing, the lobsters were so tough. i got the large and could not even chew it up to swallow. called manager over and said that the smaller lobster would be tender and perfect...wrong! worse than the first one. i still had to pay for it even though it was still unfit for consumption. so disappointing.
this was several months ago and i certainly hope it's better.

very excited about going to drago's! went for lunch and there was no wait time, and food came out quick! their fried oyster poboy is amazing, and my husband loved the red beans and rice. will definitely be going back and trying more on the menu!

i had the stuffed lobster. while the lobster was good, the crab stuffing tasted rancid. i alerted the waiter who had the manager come by but the manager never came back to let me know what he found out.

i had extremely high expectations for this place, mostly because i had always heard how delicious it was. apparently everyone was always referencing other drago's locations because this one was awful. there was something off about everything i ate. at the end of the meal when i was ordering dessert, i asked if they were made in-house. the waiter said, "honestly, nothing here is made in-house, it's cooked at another location and shipped here. i guess they don't want us to have the secret recipes." yea. i had just paid for a really expensive microwaved meal. i was pissed. that was what was off about my food.....it was reheated. the dessert (cheesecake) was delicious....i would go back for that. but nothing else. to charge such high prices for horrible, tasteless, mediocre food is a crime. my bill alone was almost $100 (including the tip). i could have had 5 dinners at red lobster and had better food. how sad is that?

my husband and i went on a friday night. service wasn't impressive even though they weren't that busy. food was flavorful but a little too rich for my pallet.

i had high expectations for dragos as i love new orleans cuisine, but the experience fell flat. we were seated quickly at 6pm on saturday, which was unexpected, but it took a while to get drinks and our order placed. first up was the spinach dip which was large enough for 4 but still not worth $12. the chips where plain colored tortilla chips and the dip was really missing something – probably artichokes – to cut the spinach wang.

next i ordered the seafood gumbo but got a cheese soup with shrimp. it turned out to be seafood bisque by mistake (which why waiters that don’t write down orders frustrate me).  so i have no idea what drago’s gumbo tastes like. regardless  $8 is too expensive for such a small cup.

the main course was the fish of the day – redfish. i had it mediterranean and my guest chose stuffed. both were large portions and well prepared. you don’t get to pick your sides but we enjoyed the spinach on the mediterranean and corn on the stuffed version.

i’m not a big oyster guy, but these were awesome!! here in jackson on business and found drago’s a pleasant surprise. great food, atmosphere and service. i’ll be back.

my husband & i heard about drago's from my niece who has been there several times. we really wanted to try it and were delighted from the time we set foot in the restaurant. we have been back 4or5 times & have never been disappointed in the service or the food. love the the laid back ambiance of the place. the servers that really stood out were monique & dj. but the others were great also. our new favorite place. note: the fried food needs more seasoning.😀
this was about the sixth time we've been to drago's.
tried to write a separate review and website wouldn't allow it. so we got the shrimp & grits & the seafood pasta. terribly disappointed in both. you want creamy grits w/your shrimp. these were "scooped" out and plopped in the middle of a shrim conglomeration! ugh. my seafood pasta had shrimp & supposedly lump crabmeat in a cream sauce. when i mentioned it to our server chelsea, she absolutely put her head down to the bowl & pointed out a micro piece of something! my husband & i were so upset we didn't even finish our meal & that is totally out of character for us! better step it up or your reputation won't save you!
