bikers beware. while i miss the days when the locals fought the opening of dogfish because it was considered far worse than the bikers that inhabited the bar before. sam and his friends continue to produce the best beer in delaware, even if they don't make it one keg at a time anymore. the mixed menu of burgers, pizza etc are not original but well made and flavorful. an apt accompaniment to thegreatbeer.

if you're visiting rehoboth you must try dogfish head.

great place, bring the kids!!!. while on the pricey side if you just want something to eat, the food is excellent. my sister and i split the crab cakes (great) and my brother-in-law had the fish n chips (which rocked and very plentiful). get the sampler or one of the limited edition beers. if you are going to stay for awhile in rehoboth and have a fridge, get a growler of beer to take back to have with the next sunset. my brother-in-law was about to kill me because it was such a long walk from the hotel to the eatery, but was rewarded withgreatfood.

great experience. if you are anywhere in the area, make the effort and grab dinner or at least a drink here. i went for dinner and everything was excellent, from the food, to the service to thegreatbeers. they had the usual fantastic dogfish drafts available but also had agreatselection of special seasonal and other beers that i haven't found available in my area. my only advice is to take a growler or two with you. i made the mistake ( i read a blog somewhere) that said their growler prices are high. this couldn't have been further from the truth. there is a cool, small gift shop set up outside which also fills growls from anywhere from $8- to around $12. i wish i would have know the prices were so reasonable, i would have brought a few empties with me. also grabbed a bottle of their jin.greatexperience.

great opportunity to try some far out brews. this is agreatplace to try something different. i love sampling the newest beers they are fielding at the brew pub. make sure to go tour the brewery as well. they are strongly associated with the local farms, check out the ingredients board on the back wall. the braised items are great. they rotate specials quite often.

great food, brews, & atmosphere!. let me start off by saying that this restaurant is awesome!
my friends and i were vacationing in rehoboth around easter last year and decided to make a stop at the "famous" dogfish head brew pub. with thegreatbeer and a rockin' band, we ended up staying for over 7 hours. yes, you read right...7 hours!! the service was phenomenal-she kept the drinks coming and didn't pressure us to order food or more beer. we ended up ordering appetizers as the night went on (along with many pints and martinis with their house-made vodka...yum!). the apps were good and the butternut squash soup was great. i can't comment for my friends but they seemed pretty happy with their burgers and pizzas as well.
overall that night was agreatsuccess and one that will live on as one of the best nights ever! we are planning a trip back this year. can't wait!!

overall, dogfish head brewings & eats is a casual spot along the main strip in rehoboth beach that isgreatfor beer, but go somewhere else to eat.

great beer and food. a bowl of corn and crab chowder was a delicious accompaniment to the many wonderful beers on tap. we seemed to got there between innings: neither the peche nor punkin ales could be found. i suggest the sampler if you need an education in beer (and dfh makes some bitter ones), and the wait staff does agreatjob of explaining both food and libations.

great experience! you have to have the salmon sandwich! it was absolutely out of this world!!! the beer sampler is agreatway to try a bunch of the most recent brews!

overall we had a reallygreatexperience at this legendary establishment. i would highly recommend checking it out if you are ever in the neighborhood.

overrated. ok, so i live literally across the street from this place and people always rave about it. obviously if you are into dogfishhead brews than this is agreatbar to go to.

the food has always been just ok in my experience and the service just ok.

good bar food,greatbeer.. i used to be a regular. i don't get there very often nowadays. it is good bar food at best. pizza is very good, but pricey.greatburgers and salmon. the beer on the other hand, is great. go for the beer and if you must try the food. just don't expect to be blown away.
