dogfish head brewings & eats

go for thebeer- which is always awesome - and stay for the food. umexpectedly delicious!

bikers beware. while i miss the days when the locals fought the opening of dogfish because it was considered far worse than the bikers that inhabited the bar before. sam and his friends continue to produce the bestbeerin delaware, even if they don't make it one keg at a time anymore. the mixed menu of burgers, pizza etc are not original but well made and flavorful. an apt accompaniment to the great beer.

if you're visiting rehoboth you must try dogfish head.

i didn't eat so i feel like this review is a waste but i was full when i left because of the amazingbeer:)

ok food appears very inconsistent. downrating my opinion a bit. come for thebeerand atmosphere and not the food.

great place, bring the kids!!!. while on the pricey side if you just want something to eat, the food is excellent. my sister and i split the crab cakes (great) and my brother-in-law had the fish n chips (which rocked and very plentiful). get the sampler or one of the limited edition beers. if you are going to stay for awhile in rehoboth and have a fridge, get a growler ofbeerto take back to have with the next sunset. my brother-in-law was about to kill me because it was such a long walk from the hotel to the eatery, but was rewarded with great food.

dogfish head brewery's pub in rehoboth sticks to a grand selection of their own brews and pub bites. the restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, both enclosed with wooden walls. i went with some people the other day to get some drinks and try some food. i had a glass of their mida's touch, which was delicious. it wasn't very sweet, but it was just sweet enough and was very smooth and light. the poutine had abeerflavored gravy, which was alright. the cheese on the fries definitely made it delicious. the spinach and mozzarella cheese dip covered toasted pita bread, the dip having a strong touch of citrus. i wasn't the biggest fan of the citrus flavor, but everyone else seemed to like it. for the portions, the prices were very reasonable and the food was prepared quickly. i'm definitely glad i got to check this pub out.

positive experience. my boyfriend and i are huge dogfish headbeerfans and planned to do a brewery tour/ beach day on our way traveling from dc to nyc. the tour was awesome and we then planned to eat at the actual restaurant afterwards. there was no wait to sit outside and it was a beautiful day so we opted for that. loved the garden like atmosphere. we each did a sampler platter of the beer- my favorite being the midas touch. we split the lamb sliders and the short rib fries. the goat cheese tzatziki on the sliders was delicious and the lamb seasoned with cumin was cooked nicely. there were three to an order. the short rib fries had a white cheddar ale sauce on them and it was a heaping portion with lots of meat, which was very good. several of the desserts sounded delicious but we were too full. out service was quick and efficient with no issues. id highly recommend visiting if in the rehoboth beach area and enjoy craft brew

love thebeerbut hey they have it in bottles which is the only way i'll enjoy the beer, the staff were rude and uninterested in any customer at the bar...we tried asking a question to be dismissed like we were a nuisance , will pass next time we're in the area, much better places to go to.

worth visiting for the beer, especially the pub exclusives which can't be found anywhere else. decent pub food. the fried pickles and falafel are both worth a try. service could be improved. bar service is a little slow, but can be overlooked due to how busy it can be. over lunch my waitress dropped crackers on the floor and still placed them on the table. she also sat down a multi-beer sampler without bothering to mention whichbeerwas which. not things that would keep me from coming back, but i would expect better.

great experience!!. food was great. the sliders were really small, but good. the short rib sloppy joe was very good. the hummus was really good as well. we also got thebeerand spirit flights. i would highly recommend getting a chaser for the spirit flights, as they liquor is very strong. i really enjoyed the experience.

“is it local?” yes. it’s local. this brew paired amazingly with the heartier menu items, like the ribs, which my husband devoured and the indulgence burger, piled with abeerbattered onion ring, cheddar, and house made bacon, which my brother demolished. to quote my brother matt, “tonight, we eat like vikings.”

great food, brews, & atmosphere!. let me start off by saying that this restaurant is awesome!
my friends and i were vacationing in rehoboth around easter last year and decided to make a stop at the "famous" dogfish head brew pub. with the greatbeerand a rockin' band, we ended up staying for over 7 hours. yes, you read right...7 hours!! the service was phenomenal-she kept the drinks coming and didn't pressure us to order food or more beer. we ended up ordering appetizers as the night went on (along with many pints and martinis with their house-made vodka...yum!). the apps were good and the butternut squash soup was great. i can't comment for my friends but they seemed pretty happy with their burgers and pizzas as well.
overall that night was a great success and one that will live on as one of the best nights ever! we are planning a trip back this year. can't wait!!

the food was very tasty. i went with the short rib which was cooked perfectly in a spicy richbeerbased broth. my wife did the fish tacos which also had a nice flavor profile and a little spice kick. we finished off the meal with chocolate bacon cheesecake. cheesecake is not my favorite dessert but with the combination of beer, chocolate, and bacon it was delicious. oh by the way, thebeeris really good too.

greatbeerand food. a bowl of corn and crab chowder was a delicious accompaniment to the many wonderful beers on tap. we seemed to got there between innings: neither the peche nor punkin ales could be found. i suggest the sampler if you need an education inbeer(and dfh makes some bitter ones), and the wait staff does a great job of explaining both food and libations.
