daytona pig stand

this is not my first time... i am a repeat customer have been all over the us (just check out my reviews) eating bbq.
i've had really bad bbq and really good bbq... this my friends ranks in the top 15 places!!!
i have eaten inside although i usually order from the takeout window. tonight baby back and brisket combo with coleslawand potato salad and a unsweet ice tea.... the ribs were wonderful nice and soft but not mush like i have had and the brisket.... if you follow me you know brisket is very important to me.... it's like a old friend that comforts you when everything is going wrong... this brisket is like that but with benefits... i had 2 nice thick juicy and tender slices just sitting there looking at me and saying "you know you wanna" and i did ohhh i did!!!!
thankfully with my business i get down here quite often and here is the only place i think of when a customer asks for a price to florida!!!!!!

no one listens to what you say. ordered 2 pulled pork sandwiches on a bun with fries and cole slaw. i get pork on fried bread
..burnt. over done fries. coleslawand no fork or napkins. now come on...bbq with no napkins in a car and no fork for cole slaw. not nice girls..wake up!

when staying in daytona, it is a given that we will travel a few exits north on i-95 to ormond beach and visit the pig stand for some 'cue. we spent the night over on the beach and decided that lunch had to be pig stand before we returned home. chef was nursing a sore mouth, so he just went with macs and cheese, and when gameteen heard that, he got them, too. meanwhile, i went for the burnt end sandwich, a nice pork bbq that is served naked withslawon top and a choice of side. barbeque sauces are on the table, and i opted for a blend of the mustard and hot. yum. theslawis a little on the sweeter side, but is crunchy and fresh, in case you prefer tangy slaw. i will probably skip the corn next time. it seems like frozen ears and no amount of butter, salt and pepper could give it flavor. they make really good, savory beans-i'll go with those next time. ed got the fat boy with beans. this sandwich comes with lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese and a creamy dressing. ed was smart, getting

outstanding bbq on our june visit of 2012. we were heading west on i-4 and spotted this place and decided to give it a try.

we were very impressed with the quality of the bbq, the sauces, the sides, and especially the service. the waitresses were all friendly and helpful, came back several times to check on us (we ate outside).

we both had pulled pork sandwiches (mine was on garlic bread), she had cole slaw, i had fries... the fries tasted fresh cut and were cooked perfectly and the coleslawwas tasty (and not smothered in vinegar like other places sometimes do).

nothing was heavily seasoned, so we added a tiny bit of salt-n-pepper to taste.
