no chutney was given with uttapam n idli jus sambhar had ordereddosabatter from here that also never came but charged me for that nvr ever ordering from here

have always ordered from your reputed restaurant but today ragidosawas not good at all.

very good place. you can must try with u r family or friends staff is very polite and taste of sambhar anddosais outstanding. ambience was ok ok.

best place to have south indian food. the staff is also good. food quality is also nice. i had paper masaladosawhich was great. it is enough for two or three persons.👍

an excellent place for south indian food. any person planning to visit this place provides you a different kind of taste to the usual dishes that you have tried before. the presentation of the food is very elegant. the ambience of the place is also decent. all dishes are accompanied by sambhar in plentiful along with three different kinds of chutneys. you can safely order anything and you will not be disappointed. the serving size is a lot. my all time favourites are butter idli, molgapudi idli, ghee dosa, gun powder idli, uttapam , spicy pepperdosawith filter coffee.
pro tip : dakshinayan makes for a great sunday breakfast outing

we went today (sunday) at around 10 am - place is extremely crowded and waiting was about 45 minutes. even after 45 minutes we had to followup few times to get shared sitting space where one couple was sitting in front of us. food taste is good but portion sizes are small making it expensive. place was extremely noisy as it was packed with large families. so if you are looking for fine dining experience, avoid this place in peak hours and weekend. food is similar in taste to what you would get in any darshinis (quick service restaurants where you stand most of the times and eat) in south india which are very cheap but have good quality tasty idli,dosaetc. however lack of options and prime juhu location is making this place charge premium,

i was sent rasam instead on sambhar with idli,dosa& vada

order was late cold n soggy food ....also zomato has a bot chatting 99 percent of the times ...so yeah no refunds also paid 4 a cold soggydosan a late delivery

one of the best south indian restaurants! we ordered steam idli, onion utthapam, mysore sadadosaand one sada dosa. everything tasted great.
only the sambar was a bit too thin, but the quantities were absolutely generous. would definitely order again!

amazing cozy place near iscon juhu, we have visited this place on lazy sunday morning at 8:15 am, restaurant was full and we got to wait for 20 min to get our table but later on within next 30 min we have realised that it was worth waiting for 20 min. we have ordered 1 nie idli, 1 molgapodi idli, ulundu vadai, mysore sadadosaand filter coffee, sambar which they served was just magical one, no words to explain, my elder son enjoyed nie idli which was served full of desi ghee flooded on it, ulundu vada too was amazing, molgapodi idli was unique one-must try, mysore sadadosawas amazingly crispy and tasty,service was super quick which we were actually not expecting during the crowded sunday morning, by and large our plan of sunday breakfast along with juhu beach masti has become extremely joyful, @dakshinayan restaurant we will surely visit you again to explore few more dishes from your authentic south indian list.

we waited a good 25mins to get a table for dinner on a weekend, and i definitely think the food was worth the wait!

the ambiance is nothing to speak of, but the speed of service and the taste of food was amazing!

1. molgapodi idli - definitely order, tastes great!!
2. ulundu vadai (medu wada) - super crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside
3. sadadosa- perfectly crisp!
4. masaladosa
5. mysore masala dosa
6. onion uttapam - delicious buttery uttapam with super crisp sides!

everything tasted super good !!!
