love this family & their sweet treats!. cozy vibe with a boom boom pow cupcake that will rock your taste buds and a chocolate chip cookie that i believe is the single best thing i've ever tasted! and the chai drinks are fantastic. everyone who comes seems to have their own favorite pie/cupcake/cookie/lemon bar/dreamsicle/coffee bar fav. what's not to love about great food & drinks, served by fun employees in a cozyatmospherethat's located in the cool part of town?! but...it's the diefenderfer family behind the cuppies and joe dessert cafe that is the true x factor here. they put so much love and care into each other, this community and everything they do, that it oozes out in the loveliest of ways. they are the real sugar in this sweet shop!

i'm a fan. though not always perfect, i enjoy my time at c&j. the lattes are spot on (with latte art) and the cupcakes satisfy my sweet tooth. the place can be a bit crowded, so you have to try to go on an off-time to get a table. love theatmosphereand vibe. worth a visit.

cuppies and joe is one of my favorite places probably because they serve two of my favorite things: cupcakes and elemental coffee. theatmosphereis awesome an very cozy. it's one of the hot spots to be. i always get the mary poppins cupcake. it's the best!

on the fence.... i love the coffee here. that espresso machine is awesome! the cupcakes are good..they tend towards the dry side a lot though. i love the peanut butter one (sorry don't know the names) and the red velvet one. theatmosphereand staff will kill this place though. if you're not a regular, the staff is downright rude. and why does the owner allow all these kids drinking water only, to take up all the tables just to play on their computers? food, coffee good.....service,atmospheredreadful.

i want to like c&j. i am generally a fan of places with cupcakes, for the mere fact that cupcakes are a delight to my soul.
my complaint about cuppies and joe isn't actually with the cupcakes. it is with the atmosphere. i feel as though i have to whisper there. the tables are small, so if you want to go there to do some work, it can be hard to maneuver. and theatmosphereoverall just doesn't say to me, "sit down and stay awhile."

delicious!. i only live a few blocks from cuppies and joe, but it has taken me until now to check the place out. the feel of this little group of shops, restaurants and offices in the uptown area has a very cozy feel. i was very impressed with the relaxed and homeyatmospherethey have created with the vintage chair, tables, and couches. it felt like you had walked into a friends home that just happens to have some of the best cupcakes in town. i started with the don, which is an italian cream cuppie w/ a cream cheese icing (pecans & coconut in the cake and icing). it was one of the most delicious cupcakes i had ever had hands down. i also got the marry poppins, which is a strawberry cuppie w/ a strawberry cream cheese icing. it was also very tasty. i will be back time and again to sample the long list of cupcakes. you can also follow them on twitter to find out what new thing they are baking up that day... @cuppiesandjoe.

dry, tasteless cupcakes and unfriendly staff. our son loves this place but it is not our cup of tea. cupcakes are small, dry, and without much flavor. this place pales in comparison to the cupcake place on n may, the cupcakes with the huge amount of icing. niceatmosphereand great location do not make up for the poor food and service. ladies taking the order are not very friendly.

i went for the coffee products first!!!. i searched for a place that i could enjoy great coffee based products without going to that crap of a chain called starbucks. after some research and review reading i settled on cuppies and joe. the serving sizes are plentiful and a great addition, for me at least, was the selection of cupcakes. of course the cupcake thing is just a current trend and no cupcake place is going to have the most moist items as they sit on display shelves but if you want a chill place to kick back enjoy some 'joe' and eat a reasonably priced cupcake then this is the place. sara sara doesn't compare and it's sterile environment doesn't lend to a laid backatmosphereas does cuppies and joe!

wonderful!! food is great and theatmosphereis perfect. i drive from norman to do homework. worth it.

very close to what a cupcake should be. sprinkles is my personal benchmark for what a cupcake should look and taste like. a moist cake part that tastes different than a normal cake and the frosting should be loads of pure buttercream frosting overflowing the top. this place is the next best thing to sprinkles and theatmosphereis fantastic. have been there many times and will continue to go especially as an added treat for dessert after a dinner out. and as you can see from my photo i've had too many of these!

it's alright.atmospheresucks (hipster douches with their macs and beards). service isn't great, owner has a 'tude. but i can't think of anything i love more than their boom boom pow cuppies. chocolate, caramel and salt. it's a thing of beauty.

starbucks doesn't offer this.... cupcakes, cakes, pies... all taste great. theatmosphereis very "homey" in this renovated house, and the people are there to please, and very friendly. i've had the cold and hot drinks, and all of them leave you with a peaceful easy feelin'. the location in midtown/uptown is great, as the revitalization along the 23rd street corridor (old business loop route 66) has really taken hold.
