went here for their bubbly brunch on friday. they had a good spread of food ranging from salads in tiny jars to a taco station, pastastationand a burger live station.
the food was pretty good however the main disappointment was the crepe station.
i was super excited to finally eat crepes after a week long craving but to my disappointment, was served a crepe that was orange in colour and looked like a dosa. it didn't taste like a crepe, smell like a crepe or look like a crepe at all. truly disappointing.

the chocolate fountain only had marshmallows and no strawberries which is usually found at a chocolate fountain.

flavours of pinas filipino themed dinner buffet
went with my husband for filipino buffet that cost 49aed for a complete dinner buffet from main dishes, desserts and unli drinks. really love the cozy place and nice staff. easy access from the metrostationsharaf dg of moe if you're around barsha mall of the emirates. food were great, expect for the kare-kare which i dont think was kare kare at all bcoz it was not peanut-ty at all. hopefully they can make it right on the next time i come back for buffet! other than that, the places is amazing for meetups, parties and celebrations and they have amazing packages for groups so check them out!

nice place, good ambience, great service and average food. we were two and had booked a table prior to the visit. the staffs were all super friendly, well mannered and polite. approached us with a smile and kept the smile until we left. the buffet wasn't bad but the number of options for the main course where limited. more vegetarian options than meat. the noodles which was prepared at the live cookingstationwas a bit salty for us. the salt which they put on the grilled fish wasn't even. decent choices of salads and deserts. lively cooked kebab was delicious. good for a one time visit.

if someone came to you and promised you all you can eat burgers you’d probably think it was too good to be true. i have to admit when i first heard about c.taste’s new burger night i was skeptical, i know the guys i’m friends with and their feelings towards meat and so i knew that if the promise of all you can eat burgers was not met there would be hell to pay, so i read up on the offer and decided to chance it.

we arrived a little late (traffic was fun as always) and two members of our party were already there and seated so we joined them, but even so i can’t say i saw a single member of staff between walking in and sitting down which would have bothered me had we not already had people there but a waiter appeared at our table within a couple of minutes of us saying hellos and sitting down, poured our water and semi-explained the deal to us, although he wasn’t very clear. what i understood from his explanation was that the two house beverages included in the price were either beer or red or white wine, but this did not seem to be the case as one member of our party ordered a double whiskey and coke which seemed to be included. nowhere on the table or in the restaurant did it explain what the house beverage title encompassed so we were all a little confused as to what would and would not show up on the bill at the end but clearly the spirit was included.

we all made our way over to the food to investigate what was on offer to us; at the live cookingstationwas a selection of beef burgers, mushroom burgers or chicken which were cooked to order by a very friendly chef. there was also a small selection of hot entrees for anyone not feeling a burger. the salad side of the room consisted of burger toppings – shredded lettuce, pickles, sauces, cheese, tomatoes, onions and the like, allowing complete freedom to build your own burger. the burgers were juicy and delicious, the chicken was crispy and the salad options were all fresh and crisp making for a table full of happy meat filled men and satisfied women. my only ask of c.taste really would be to provide an alternative to bread for those people who can’t or choose not to eat it – at our table alone three people, including myself, should not be eating bread – and just to have some large whole iceberg or butter lettuce leaves available as an alternative choice.

most of the people at the table were completely full by the time it came to dessert but a few of us still had a little space to peruse the sweetstationand see what was on offer. there was standard little decadent cake options, from cheesecake to strawberry mousse cake as well as bread and butter pudding (which i was told was really lovely) and a peaches and cream type dessert that tasted a little bit odd, i still can’t put my finger on the reason but i can’t say i enjoyed it.

overall the night was a wonderful success, and hopefully the restaurant continues their burger night so that we can continue to go. i am sure that any of the little kinks we encountered will work themselves out as they go.
