the food was amazing !! the manager is kind !! had chance to visit with big group of tour, but the problem is one of the chef approach me and telling me that 1 of the meal is not allowed to take after some guest is taking the food. thestaffshould informed at the start. before taking the food. not while taking the food. lucky the restaurant manager was wise and good guy. even the cookstaffembarrassed me in front of my guest. make my rate 5 into 3.

breakfast buffet on 23.08.2019
visited this outlet for breakfast buffet. full marks to the same. not a lot of variety but yeah the available variety is delicious. the veal sausages, mortadellas, great cooking station. here you will find coffee machine with fresh beans. enough items for someone who is on keto diet.

the thing which makes it more appealing is its attentivestaff- always with a smile and quick plus its ambience..

sunday is asian nights at c.taste and we were here to experience their buffet. thestaffare happy souls with smiling faces, the service is great and the buffet spread is decent.

the buffet spread has a good variety of salads - thai, indian and arabic and also have some variety of cheese. they have dim sums and a noodles live cooking station. they also have a tandoori grill where chicken skewers in indian flavors are freshly grilled.

there was a veg noodle soup that was pretty decent however lacked a bit of flavor.

some of the mains that i tried were the grilled fish miso, butter chicken, vegetable biryani, chilli cheese potato and steamed rice.

the spread of desserts is also good with a selection of indian, asian desserts and cakes.

the spread of indian food was way better than the rest with the butter chicken being my absolute favorite.

trying the restaurant for two breakfasts and a friday brunch (you can’t be in dubai and not try any brunch), we clearly see how some of the menu was changed and experience different types of international cuisines. may it be arabic, asian or western variety – this restaurant have something to offer for any nationality visiting dubai.

the restaurant setting looks intimate yet creating an airy atmosphere as the tables and chairs was arranged just the right distance. i hate it when my chair will bump to the next seat! also the natural sunlight passing through the tall glass ceiling added to the bright space. breakfast options aren’t many but completely satiating. it was just the right amount of carbs to start the day. make sure to have a waffle or two!

now with the friday brunch which certainly a must for anyone visiting dubai, options range from arabic, continental cuisines to international ones. my favorite from the brunch was the pasta live station, mini-burger which is actually from the kids menu and of course the dessert corner with the chocolate fountain! as usual, my husband like the arabic main courses and the sushi.

with the funky and vibrant setting, live-cooking stations, kids corner, accommodatingstaffand most of all affordable price, it’s definitely a brunch to try out when in the city.

if someone came to you and promised you all you can eat burgers you’d probably think it was too good to be true. i have to admit when i first heard about c.taste’s new burger night i was skeptical, i know the guys i’m friends with and their feelings towards meat and so i knew that if the promise of all you can eat burgers was not met there would be hell to pay, so i read up on the offer and decided to chance it.

we arrived a little late (traffic was fun as always) and two members of our party were already there and seated so we joined them, but even so i can’t say i saw a single member ofstaffbetween walking in and sitting down which would have bothered me had we not already had people there but a waiter appeared at our table within a couple of minutes of us saying hellos and sitting down, poured our water and semi-explained the deal to us, although he wasn’t very clear. what i understood from his explanation was that the two house beverages included in the price were either beer or red or white wine, but this did not seem to be the case as one member of our party ordered a double whiskey and coke which seemed to be included. nowhere on the table or in the restaurant did it explain what the house beverage title encompassed so we were all a little confused as to what would and would not show up on the bill at the end but clearly the spirit was included.

we all made our way over to the food to investigate what was on offer to us; at the live cooking station was a selection of beef burgers, mushroom burgers or chicken which were cooked to order by a very friendly chef. there was also a small selection of hot entrees for anyone not feeling a burger. the salad side of the room consisted of burger toppings – shredded lettuce, pickles, sauces, cheese, tomatoes, onions and the like, allowing complete freedom to build your own burger. the burgers were juicy and delicious, the chicken was crispy and the salad options were all fresh and crisp making for a table full of happy meat filled men and satisfied women. my only ask of c.taste really would be to provide an alternative to bread for those people who can’t or choose not to eat it – at our table alone three people, including myself, should not be eating bread – and just to have some large whole iceberg or butter lettuce leaves available as an alternative choice.

most of the people at the table were completely full by the time it came to dessert but a few of us still had a little space to peruse the sweet station and see what was on offer. there was standard little decadent cake options, from cheesecake to strawberry mousse cake as well as bread and butter pudding (which i was told was really lovely) and a peaches and cream type dessert that tasted a little bit odd, i still can’t put my finger on the reason but i can’t say i enjoyed it.

overall the night was a wonderful success, and hopefully the restaurant continues their burger night so that we can continue to go. i am sure that any of the little kinks we encountered will work themselves out as they go.
