i went to this place to havebrunchon a friday with my family. their supervisor sammi was very welcoming and attended us very well. he made arrangements very quickly for the table and otherwise.their decoration with all the orange and wine bottles hanging on the rustic wooden barrels quite had my intrest buzzing. they had this particular orange-based theme going on with their cuisines that day , with a variety of cakes, to tarts, to souffles, to rice. options for salads and desserts were very good, which looked good and tasted even better. i particularly liked veg.biryani and their roasted potato with oregano. chef had their own live pasta counter but the quantity of serving per plate was very less so i felt quite a hassle in getting up and again to bring the pastas. pasta were good and creamy, particularly white sauce, but pesto pasta had very less of the sauce. ambience and the lobby was very nice and the bean bags looked good in the setup. the waiters were very cordial and looked happy.

went here for their bubblybrunchon friday. they had a good spread of food ranging from salads in tiny jars to a taco station, pasta station and a burger live station.
the food was pretty good however the main disappointment was the crepe station.
i was super excited to finally eat crepes after a week long craving but to my disappointment, was served a crepe that was orange in colour and looked like a dosa. it didn't taste like a crepe, smell like a crepe or look like a crepe at all. truly disappointing.

the chocolate fountain only had marshmallows and no strawberries which is usually found at a chocolate fountain.

price-3.5/5
ambience- 4/5
quality - 3/5

my go-to place for a nice little not crowded buffet orbrunchon a friday. the food is always good and happy with the service and waiters. i have been there for brunch, iftar, and christmas and they never fail to surprise with their different dishes. they also set up a notch with decor when they are preparing for a celebration of some sort.

overall great food, good value and good service.

whenever we decide to staycay, brunchand breakfasts make an integral part of our experience. in fact, i am so particular about trying the restaurants located inside hotels, i almost don’t mind risking not stepping out of the property at all, just so i can make the most of its dining options. on our city-cation at centro barsha, we decided to try their in-house restaurants – c.taste and c.mondo.

brunch is a dubai institution that will never go out of style and it really excites everyone and who doesn’t like to have lazy hearty meal on off day. i got to try this c-tastebrunchwhile i was on a staycation here in centro barsha. c-taste is an all day dining restaurant boosting contemporary setup, you can enjoy this international cuisine by sitting inside the restaurant or dwell in the luxury of taste by sitting under the skylight area. the emphasis of the centro dining experience is on serving a delicious array of international food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. they have created an intimate yet lively atmosphere, perfect for sampling a tempting selection of culinary delights, any time of day.

trying the restaurant for two breakfasts and a fridaybrunch(you can’t be in dubai and not try any brunch), we clearly see how some of the menu was changed and experience different types of international cuisines. may it be arabic, asian or western variety – this restaurant have something to offer for any nationality visiting dubai.

the restaurant setting looks intimate yet creating an airy atmosphere as the tables and chairs was arranged just the right distance. i hate it when my chair will bump to the next seat! also the natural sunlight passing through the tall glass ceiling added to the bright space. breakfast options aren’t many but completely satiating. it was just the right amount of carbs to start the day. make sure to have a waffle or two!

now with the fridaybrunchwhich certainly a must for anyone visiting dubai, options range from arabic, continental cuisines to international ones. my favorite from thebrunchwas the pasta live station, mini-burger which is actually from the kids menu and of course the dessert corner with the chocolate fountain! as usual, my husband like the arabic main courses and the sushi.

with the funky and vibrant setting, live-cooking stations, kids corner, accommodating staff and most of all affordable price, it’s definitely abrunchto try out when in the city.
