crepe montagne was high on our list of places to eat but they are only open during breakfast and brunch. we stopped before we left whistler to get back to reality. the place wasn’t busy at all, although it was a monday morning. they have crepe in the name, so they have to be good right. we all got savoury crepes all of which come with a varying number of eggs, a ton of cheese, green onions, and your choice of ham, canadian bacon and tomatoes. all crepes are made with white and buckwheat flour. i went for the slalom – 1 egg, canadian bacon, 3 cheeses, fresh tomato, and green onions. my first bite was heaven. thecheeseblend they use is amazing with the egg. it might be too cheesy for some, but i loved every bite of this. the egg was slightly cooked in between the crepes, and it was topped with the canadian bacon a the cheese, and some green onions and tomatoes (with meltedcheeseon top of them too). the green onion helped give it an extra kick and the tomato helped cut throu

for the best crepes in whistler head to crepe montagne, a french place located in whistler village.  besides serving wonderful savory buckwheat crepes and simply mouthwatering sweet crepes, they also have salads, french onion soup, escargots, and fondue.  the fondue would be perfect for wintertime for après ski.  since we visited in the summer and the weather was in the high eighties, a  goatcheeseand tomato crepe served with a salad did the job for a nice seasonal lunch.  every bite was filled with creamy goatcheeseand fresh tomatoes, a really nice combination.  my husband had the same idea and went with a chicken and goatcheesecrepe.  his cocktail of choice was a bloody mary while i had a punch st. germaine.  my drink had pineapple juice and rum and had a sugared rim.  my cocktail went down smoothly and tasted like a mai tai.  so good.  the boys shared the french toast from the kids' menu and then for dessert the four of us shared the lemon curd crepe.  for only four bucks, since we ate the one from the kids' menu, it was a real treat and so, so delicious.  the lemon curd was perfectly tart and sweet and each bite tasted like summertime in whistler.

crepes that fill you up are worth the wait!. visited on both days we were in whistler this weekend. restaurant was busy throughout the morning (probably b/c of long weekend) with 10-15 min wait at 10am and 30 min wait at 11am.
we had the savoury breakfast crepes, which were filled withcheeseand some delicious toppings. i would highly recommend the savoury crepes, just remember to ask for you toppings (like hashbrowns or bacon) on the side, or else you'll get a bigger portion at an extra cost.
had the eggs benny on another day - nothing extra special, just typical eggs benny. muffins were toasted really crisp and super buttery with plenty of hollandaise, the poached eggs were just runny enough.
substitutions can be a little tricky, but be sure to ask one of their friendly servers about how to get something a little more customized!

a favorite in whistler. tiny place with great ambiance. the crepes were excellent, so was the fondue. didn't love the goatcheesesalad, was expecting more salad but this was more like grilled goatcheeseopen face sandwiches with a little salad.

would definitely recommend.

meat fondue beef broth. pink peppercorns and scallions float atop a lovely beef broth. you're given fondue forks to spear your food to cook or you can dump the food in to cook and fish it out later with a little basket the dips for the meat fondue are delicious
