finally had my first crawdaddy's experience. i had been on the hunt for the perfectsteakand finally found it. had the fillet and it lived up to all of my expectations. juicy and soft. perfectly done.
the rest of the table had burgers which also received double thumbs up.
great service as well.

beststeakin town. their cheese and jalapeño sauce was amazing and so good i order it everytime i go back. service was outstanding. always have a good time here.

as asteakfanatic i can say crawdaddy's has the best quality meat in town. service is good but frankly if your meat is of this quality then they can serve it on a paper plate and i will still be happy. be sure to order medium to rare as the best pieces are kept for the real meat lovers.

so i was craving a nice tender juicysteakfor brunch, i go to crawdaddy's and they inform me that the kitchen only opens at 11:30. so i said i wouldn't mind waiting and the waiter was very attentive and apologetic for the weight...the service was brilliant, ambiance fantastic and thesteakwas exactly what i was looking for! hot juicy 500g of fillet is now sitting in my belly and i could not have been more satisfied! the side salad was however a little plain, but other than that i have no complaints. merci!

crawdaddy's currently have six other offerings (that i know of): brooklyn, menlyn, centurion, silverlakes, rustenburg and tzaneen, and is a franchise that boasts twenty (20) years experience, but this is the first branch that i have visited. 

crawdaddy's motto: "for great seafood, steaks and asian fusion foods". i am going to begin with the fact that to offer asian on the menu at a pub and steakhouse is an unusual mix but their steaks were good. their prawns come from india, their oysters from lüderitz (namibia)and there are a lot of crab dishes on the menu so i really should have asked where they come from..

crab & prawn curry

notablesteaktoppings that caught my eye on our visit:
jalapeno: jalapenos in cheese sauce with a three (3) cheese crust and bacon bits.
magic mushroom: mushroom sauce, sautéed mushrooms and mozzarella. 
medallion: mushroom sauce, capers, roast peppers and halloumi.
transylvania: garlic butter, garlic sauce and roasted garlic cloves. 
rossini: chicken livers in a creamy wine, mushroom, onion and green pepper sauce. 

*we were served by matthew, our knowledgable and helpful waiter who gave us some of the best service that i have received anywhere ever in pretoria so a notable mention to him!*

*recommendation: in terms of well-priced food in a casual setting, crawdaddy's franchise is a landmark in pretoria known for its prawns, lüderitz oysters and steak.

average service, great snails. thesteaktasted like gas and was undercooked, asked for med rare, it came out blue rare.
i can handle a bit of an undercooked steak, however, an ice cold steak, tasting like a backyard gas braai...not acceptable.

the best asian soy glazed ribs i've ever had. generous portions for a good price, i went for valentine's day with my boyfriend and he got a filletsteakthat felt like pillows in your mouth.

i still came home with leftovers that still tasted amazing the day after. they are famous for there steaks as well, so i strong recommend you try one of theresteakdishes😸

there sides are also seasoned well and quite tasty.

excellent food, great service and lovely atmosphere. there is a wide variety to choose from. the prices sre good and you grt real value for your money. peppersteakwas an excellent grade of meat one of my favourite meals when hsd with mash.

amazing service, delicious food, got our food exactly how we asked it for and my boyfriend even said it was the beststeakhe has ever had and he is very picky, so all in all it was perfect. i don't need to say anything more but if you want good seafood and good steaks this is the place to go!

crawdaddy's brooklyn is opposite the austen robberts bird park. saturday night it had a cheerful, buoyant vibe. we secured the last table on the verandah.
my buttered fetasteak- sirloin, basted in butter and a hint of garlic, cooked medium rare, covered in chopped red & green fresh chili then smothered in creamy danish feta, was delicious. served with delectable veggie staples - grilled butternut and creamed spinach. big servings - the side order of onion rings was huge! not that we've minded 😀

i had seafood, and the calamari was divine. oysters fresh and fantastic the other guests all hadsteakand it received rave reviews from everyone.(meduim rare was meduim rare ect). its very reasonably priced.

one huge complaint was the waitress - she just couldn't care. i looked around on two occasions for her. the steaks were just -steakand chips nothing more (no veggies offered?) sorry that be bothered you during lunch time.

the atmosphere is the the highlight at this place- dimmed with candle light it certainly makes a spot for a romantic date or just a chilled calm night with friends. thesteakis amazing. my favorite is the potato spud with feta and spinach 👌❤️ the waiters are all young, friendly, and go the extra mile. the portion sizes are worth while and good value for money... the seafood is certainly fresh.. only positives to say about this place..

always a favourite! reasonable prices, excellent food and attentive servers makes this one of my favourites in pretoria! try their rumpsteakor eisbein and you won't be dissapointed.

distinct ambience, large menu selection, big portions. good service. not necessarily a place to go for a stunning meal but fine for friday lunch. mysteakwas over cooked and tough my husband's raw.

overall the best seafood restaurant out there ...in pta.do yourself a favour their crawdadys seafood platter for 2 is fantastic .
i always add a 200gsteakjust for good taste/measure .go there ....comparing this crawdadys with all the others .....this one is the best !!!!!
